I hope you had an amazing holiday weekend! I’m rolling down the highway on the way back from Wisconsin. It was a wonderful vacation, but now it’s time to get back to work and back to reality!

I love your article! This topic has crossed my mind a lot lately these past few weeks. I’ve had to delete my Instagram app from my phone several times because I was getting so tired of scrolling through everyone else’s “highlight reels,” as you’ve aptly said. Social media these days is just so one-dimensional, and I think it’s healthy to disconnect every once in a while to invest in real relationships.

The only people who tend to see that part of ourselves are those we allow. Or if we at all decide to share that part of ourselves on social media.
