I am just flying on cloud nine this morning: I am a new aunt to TWIN BOYS! (God is good!) I got new workout clothes. Had the best weekend with my friends. Things are going swimmingly in the dating department!

I am over the moon to share the episode with you guys. We had such an interesting conversation about freedom in Christ, spiritual warfare, recovery, the wounds that every one of us carry, Leah’s story — it is such a good listen. So please check it out!
I have long admired Leah! She is truly beautiful, inside and out! She’s a former model and contestant on America’s Next Top Model, and she uses her powerful story to inspire women all over the world. She’s a mom of four adorable kids, an international speaker, podcast host (to one of the top Christian podcasts), and author! I read her book, The Other Side of Beauty — and let me tell ya — it’s a must read for women and girls.
And over the winter, I got to meet up with Leah at the SEEK 2019 conference in Indianapolis. She gave such an impactful speech and is just an incredibly inspiring woman.

Hi Caralyn, Just finished listening to the podcast. Wow, firstly thank you for being so open always and sharing your story. Although I do not struggle with an eating disorder, I do struggle to be happy and content with my weight. I always feel that I would be happier if I were a few kilos lighter and that has been something I battle with since I was a teenager. When you said it is spiritual warfare, made me think hard on my dissatisfaction when I stand on the weighing scale. The Lord has been working in me but I am still very much a work in progress. I do know that HE is teaching me everyday and my experiences have taught me that I can find my true Joy only in Him.
Thank you again for being an inspiration and sharing your testimony of Christ’s work in your life.

This is a fantastic podcast – thank you for sharing! I especially liked what you said about the “God-sized hole in our life that only He can fill,” and how we waste so much time trying to fill it ourselves. We attribute so much value to things that are ultimately meaningless, when in reality, the only source of true fulfillment is Christ.
