A Missing Outcry

I heard a gut wrenching statistic the other day.

One that, I had to bring up on the blog, even though the thought of broaching this topic amid the current climate of Black Lives Matter, and race relations, scares me half to death.

But I have never let fear stop me from posting before. Particularly because the more nervous I am to push “publish,” the more important the topic actually is.

So anyway, enough beating around the bush:

It is more likely for a black baby to be aborted than it is to be born in New York City.

I’m going to say that again:

According to the Charlotte Loizer Institute, in NYC, it is more likely for a black baby to be aborted, than born alive.

Please let that sink in.

Of the nearly 48,000 reported pregnancies for black women in New York City in 2016, 49 percent ended in abortion, as compared with 47% that ended in live birth, with 4% miscarriages.

I’m not going to sit here and bash you over the head with stats and statistics, or bible verses, or other propaganda — which, believe me, I have an arsenal at the ready.

But rather I just want to invite you to think about this:

Think about the nation, completely tearing apart at the seams, over the unjust and reprehensible murder of George Floyd and the other unarmed black men and women, at the hands of the police. Last year, that number was: nine men, and one woman — unarmed, and fatally shot by police. Ten horrific, and tragic losses of life that should have never ever happened. Each one, an unspeakable injustice.

Now, please juxtapose that with — during that same time period — the true genocide, of nearly 24,000 black babies in NYC alone. Not to mention the 56 million aborted children, worldwide, per year.

Twenty Four Thousand babies. The true black genocide. — Where is the outcry?

Where is the anger and outrage?

Why are we not tearing down statues and calling out Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger — who herself was an outspoken racist, and eugenist. Yes – eugenics, as in: “the practice or advocacy of controlled selective breeding of human populations (as by sterilization) to improve the populationโ€™s genetic composition.” (Merriam Webster.)

Sanger was seeking to “assist the race in the elimination of the unfit” — her words in her “Birth Control and Racial Betterment” address of 1919. Sanger’s racism was unabashed: speaking at Klan meetings in 1926, calling for the sterilization of black people through her organization’s targeted outreach to black communities.

Yes. Planned Parenthood — the bright star of feminists, and pink ribbon supporters everywhere — has a disturbingly dark, deeply racist origin.

Consider where your local Planned Parenthood resides? Low income neighborhoods? Near public transportation?

Consider where, how, and to whom they advertise.

And then consider the numbers. Consider, those 24,000 precious, little black babies, killed last year in NYC, alone. Do their lives matter?

In 1984, Jesse Jackson called abortion, black genocide, comparing a mother’s control over her child’s death through abortion, to that of slavery.

We cannot fight for justice for black lives, without including the most vulnerable, and most executed population: the children in the womb.

It is an uncomfortable conversation. But it is a gross atrocity that we are allowing to take place, here in “woke” 2020.

Wake up, America. If we’re truly fighting for justice for our black brothers and sisters, we cannot ignore the biggest injustice of all.

Because every. single. life. matters. Every single one.

Regardless of race, sex, background, religion, sexual orientation, nationality — or life stage — we are all made by God. And therefore are all inherently valuable and worthy of justice and life.

Yes, Black Lives Matter — all of them.

“This is what the Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.” Ez 37:5

  1. Thank you. This has been on my heart and mind a lot lately. I agree wholeheartedly.i couldnโ€™t have said it better and I will share on my Facebook page. God bless you.

    • Thnak you Joyce, i’m so glad this hit home with you. and i really appreciate you passing this along. stay well my friend. Hugs and love xox

    • thank you so much Mel – i appreciate your support. this was a tough one to push publish, but i had to do it for the little babies!! stay well! Hugs and love xox

  2. My alma mater is changing the name of a building because tho prof for which it was named was an advocate of eugenics, which contributed greatly to the perpetuation of American racism and the European Holocaust. Yet Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood get a pass. Tragic. Evil.

    • It really is so so tragic. i’m glad to hear your alma mater is doing that. such a sad state of the world. stay well. Hugs and love xox

  3. The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell (2000) is a fascinating book about interpreting numbers and finding relationships between different social forces and/or events. Not a great summary, butโ€ฆ

He has several books out, but Iโ€™m pretty sure itโ€™s this one โ€“ his first โ€“ that discusses abortion and how it disproportionately affects African Americans. I canโ€™t recall if he makes the connection as to how it happens that way. However, DNA: Pirates of the Sacred Spiral by Leonard Horowitz does. There is historical evidence of how DNA research gave rise to ideas like Hitlerโ€™s master race (he based it on American DNA research). Since DNA research first began the idea of eliminating inferior races and even inferior individuals, like the retarded or deformed, has brought on some truly horrific actions.

While such practices were once overtly preached, public outcry drove it all underground. Abortion is one tool deliberately aimed at African Americans. It is the issue owned by Democratsโ€ฆthe party of the KKK.

I know this sound all โ€œconspiracy theoryโ€ but Iโ€™ve read enough to know it is factual. Youโ€™ve made a very good point tonight!

    • Thank you Jeff – you don’t sound conspiracy theory at all ((even though I secretly find them fascinating hahha) But all jokes aside – it is such a horrific and atrocious act we’ve ‘normalized’ and it just makes me so very sad and angry. thank you for sharing your insight!! big hugs to you and your girls. xox

  4. People seem to pick and choose where they place the value of life. But God is the creator of ALL life and finds worth in every single person. Even those yet to be born. The world looks at things through natural eyes. It takes a close connection to the Lord to see things through His eyes.

    • you’re so right about that, Stephanie – He is the creator of ALL! thanks for this beautiful reflection. Hugs and love xox

  5. Keep being you! Love it, I have been saying this all along… even when it was just Covid. Apparently, Iโ€™m considered a terrorist if I shop at Costco sans mask, but Iโ€™m a heroic feminist if I end an inconvenient pregnancy! Ridiculous

    • aw, thank you Nita — I so appreciate your support! Yeah – a bit backwards to say the least. stay well my friend. Hugs and love xox

      • I hope this all brings light to so much of the darkness out there… We need to band together in love, so glad to have an โ€œinsiderโ€ in the Big City! ๐Ÿ’–

      • I do pray that be the case!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ hahah an insider! wow – i am honored by that title ๐Ÿ™‚ heheheheh Hugs and love xox

  6. I have also had to remind myself that when it is hardest to hit publish then it is the publish most needed. It is a brave thing to speak truth in a day that gets you so much backlash for it. I often remind myself how Jesus received the utmost backlash of all. I also have to remind myself that I am not Jesus so I must rely on Him even more when I feel the enemy coming for battle against truth that flowed from God through my typing fingers. I admire your willingness to allow God to flow through you. Overlooking the negative backlash and leaning on the positive notes is more difficult than I have ever imagined. I pray for God’s strength and endurance over you as well.

    • Thank you so much MoJo – you’re right, that’s the sign of an important topic! thank you for this beautiful encouragement. what a powerful reminder indeed! thanks for the prayers, know that you’re in mine too! Hugs and love xox

  7. Did you see the recent documentary on Roe versus Wade (AKA Jane Roe)? That shining legal example of “Women’s Rights?” The short version of the documentary: the anonymous woman “Roe” – never had an abortion in the first place! Whatever you think of Norma McCorvey (“Roe”), because she was a controversial figure for both sides, the truth is that Planned Parenthood is evil. I know there’s another movie – “Unplanned”.

It’s not just aborting black babies. Sanger in the 1920s was part of a group that promoted “eugenics” where in a 1922 US Supreme Court case, they stated aborting “special needs” (Down Syndrome) children was good public policy. That is wrong. Some of the most precious people in the world have Down Syndrome and the world is a lesser place without them.

    • I haven’t seen that documentary, but I’ll absolutely be looking it up tonight! Oh wow – how powerful! and yes – i have seen the movie Unplanned – what an absolutely terrific and powerful movie. Yes – that is also the goal of eugenics – it is just downright wrong. Hugs and love xox

      • My good friend “K” had two abortions when she was 19. Now that she is a mother of three great young women and a devoted Christian, she absolutely regretted her decisions. No one ever thinks about 20 years later when the women now think- i could have a boy or girl that age

      • Thatโ€™s very true – there is deep sadness and even PTDS trauma for both the mothers and fathers, who are often overlooked. I will pray for your friend K. What a powerful and comforting fact to know that there is healing in Christ.

    • thank you so much for your support – i truly appreciate it! ๐Ÿ™‚ yes – those moments of nervousness often indicate an important conversation! ๐Ÿ™‚ stay well Hugs and love xox

  8. Carolyn, your discussion is heartfelt and shows the harsh imbalances within our society which are sadly drowned out by other voices. Thanks so much for sharing.

    • Thank you friend – you hit the nail on the head: itโ€™s sadly drowned out. I appreciate your support. Big hugs to you xox

    • Thank you friend. Such a sad state of the world. Many prayers for our nation! Hugs and love xox

    • Thanks Ryan!! It was scary to push publish so I really appreciate the support! Hugs and love xox

  9. I agree that every life matters, and I am against abortion. But, to equate a personal decision to systemic abuse is like comparing apples and oranges. And women of all races have abortions, not just black women, and I would believe for similar reasons. I am not saying you are wrong, but it seems to imply that blacks actually have nothing to protest, and that this is a bigger issue than centuries of discrimination and pain. I might have misunderstood the reason for the post. If so, please accept my apologies. You are a compassionate person.

    • Thank you for sharing your perspective on this. Your offer some very powerful points that i agree with. I just want to make sure itโ€™s clear that I am in no way diminishing what people are protesting, or implying that only black women have abortions. I am just reflecting on the statistic, the organizationโ€™s history, and the blm movement, given its prominence right now. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and raising these points!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Hugs and love xox

  10. As always Caralyn you say what needs to be said. It is a sad world in which we live when value of life is decided by politics. I mourn over those millions of lost lives and pray for their mothers and those considering abortion. How I am reminded of what Jesus said โ€œJerusalem, Jerusalem … How often I have wanted to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!” Insert any city – continent or country. How much work we have to do as Christians to share what our Savior teaches, for that is the only power to change anything! Your insight is amazing and always fair. Thanks. I always read what you share – sometimes even the recipes ๐Ÿ™‚ John

    • Thank you so much John, i really appreciate your support! wow what a powerful verse. you’re so right – we are to share His love and His teaching. I am joining you in those prayers! Hugs and love xox

  11. Caralyn, thank you for bringing up a much needed conversation. The agenda to abort and kill those that some consider unworthy to live because of their skin color or ethnic background has been well funded. The value of life is not there. You nailed it when you also mentioned PTSD from the mothers that abort. Planned Parenthood targets the groups they believe do not have the right to live. It is truly appalling. Thank you for discussing it. Love and hugs!! xoxo

    • thank you so much, you’re so right – we need to value life, in all its forms, stages, backgrounds and looks! amen to that – so many prayers for all those impacted by the trauma and tragedy of abortion. Hugs and love xox

    • you’re so right Rollie, it is hiding in plain sight. and amen to that – the enemy loves abortion. thanks for stopping by. Hugs and love xox

  12. Catholicism and the sanctity of human life, probably one of the key stone bedrocks of your religion. I definitely cannot quote Catholic verse and teachings to you as I am not a Catholic, but I am a human being so I have a right to express an opinion on that level.
As an unborn baby my mum was told she would lose me unless she remained in bed for about 6 months in hospital prior to my birth and so that is what she did and here I am today. She lives in a country where she can be nurtured and cared for by a health service for 6 months without fear of starving to death from not feeding herself or other members of her family. My none domesticated Dad nearly lost the plot at that time looking after my older brother but we all muddled through.

There begins my perspective. If you provide a life opportunity to people to have a life then they will very much likely take up that choice and to me it is a choice. If you define the termination of an unborn child as genocide (which is your choice of words not mine). As the โ€˜ownersโ€™ of their own bodies I believe woman have the choice to terminate the life that grows within them. If you take that right away from women and make it a law that enforces the birthing of all children then you are in effect saying that the state has power over the individualsโ€™ body rather than the individual holding the power themselves.

It still a very difficult issue to deal with and just as on one side of the issue you can argue it is wrong to have an individual make a choice on who comes into this world on the other side of the issue I would say it is wrong that the state decides a child must come into this world. Sanctity of a womanโ€™s body must not lie solely with the state deciding who lives and dies, the state can give guidance on what is ethically, medically and legally defined to be correct. But with the woman whose body we referring to she has to a larger extent rights granted to her within the confines of that ethical, moral and legal construct that the state provides.

It is not easy but my point is someone must be accountable for the medical, ethical and moral decision and if you donโ€™t allow a woman to be accountable for her decision on her body then you are instead claiming that either your God enforced by the state has the right to the birthing of individuals into this world and the human right to define how or when a life comes into this world is null and void and although I see the logic in your perspective I do strongly disagree.

    • Hi friend, thank you so much for sharing your story, and for sharing your thoughts on this deeply emotional issue. my heart goes out to what your mother had to go though. I hear you, and I respect your position, and appreciate you joining the dialogue. It surely is a topic that everyone feels deeply about, and I respect your beliefs, even though they differ from mine ๐Ÿ™‚ Hugs and love xox

  13. Unfortunately there’s a lot of players out there and it’s not trying to play the race game here but I do notice a lot of men who just so happen to be black dont really have the mindset of family or have the capacity to raise a child. Again not trying to single out a race because others may do the same but.. this tends to fall onto the women who doesn’t have a job or does have a job but can’t afford to have a kid.

Now that may sound like an excuse and it potentially is which is why relationships in general need communication. If you dont want kids dont do the act of making one. Raising kids, one of the most important things about life is determining what you want out of it and what your capabilities are.

I’ve always spoke out how I didnt want kids and besides the fact of not having it easy to get into a relationship with someone I like but that’s beside the point. I know I can’t afford to have a child so because of that I’m not really concerned about relationships or really have to deal with any of that. I dont have any flings with anyone either so that also helps.

Bottom line is there isnt a great deal of communication let alone teaching people how to handle these situations so it doesn’t come to the point where a woman is single, with no help but got pregnant due to a fling with a guy who had no interest or concern about starting a family. Again, not really an excuse for having an abortion but that in itself is an issue when women feel like that’s the best option, if that makes sense.

    • thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this deeply emotional issue. I agree – if you cannot support a child, for whatever reason, abstaining from the chance of having children would seem to be the wise thing to do. You bring up some really great points here, and I appreciate having been able to read your words. Hugs and love xox

  14. I can’t help but fail to understand why racism exists? The only thing I know is that Adam gave birth to kids with different skin colours so they are basically the same! This topic angers me everytime i try to think about it … Thank you for bringing this to light! Caralyn ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ™ˆ

    • Thank you so much Yiena, for sharing your heart. I am right there with you – it makes absolutely no sense to me…we’re all one family!!! i so appreciate your kind heart and thoughts! you are a gem!! big big hugs xox

      • ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›

  15. Well said. It takes courage to speak up and clearly it was pushed onto your heart by God โค๏ธ … in Australia about 60-80,000 babies are lost to abortion – thereโ€™s no solid statistics as itโ€™s difficult to collect that kind of data. My son could have become one of those statistics because to he was unplanned but he was apart of Godโ€™s plan – although at the time I wasnโ€™t Christian- but am now and can see it was apart of His plan… and it makes me see, Jesus was knocking on my heart then and even now with those statistics- he was knocking on the hearts of those women too – He had a plan for them even if their plan wasnโ€™t to have a child this way. Mark 9:37 NIV Jesus says, โ€œwhoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.โ€ These lives are not only being aborted but they are rejecting Jesus and the one who sent Him and that maybe because these women donโ€™t know him. ๐Ÿ’” and itโ€™s not just lives that are being lost but potential purpose, dreams and everything else are lost too – Godโ€™s vision and purpose for that life is lost too. These lives matter too and perhaps the question we should consider asking is – how can we better support women to turn uncertainty into certainty and say yes to this new life they have been given and made for?? โค๏ธ

    • Hi friend, thank you so much for sharing your story, and sharing your heart on this. gosh, that number is so sad. Amen – God’s plans are always perfect and on time, even if in the moment we may not understand. Such a powerful verse. thank you for sharing that. you’re so right – so much loss, so much mourning. i’m right there with you. praying for all those impacted by abortion! Hugs and love xox

    • thank you Robert, I appreciate your support! yes! we are to be the voice for the voiceless! Hugs and love xox

      • Caralyn… I thought by now you knew how my mind sorts works! And I do have a memory like an Elephant thank God! I just lack in other qualities that tend to trip me up in life a few too many times now and again! No; having cold ones isn’t the issue with me! BTW, I just looked up to see the next comment to respond to and it was who else? Yes, you, so that was a nice surprise because you were laughing in it and not upset with me as I have been known to irritate people; go figure! Mainly I’m happy you responded and are OK, maybe not great atm, but, we can live with OK for now, right? I said this in one of your blogs before, Saint Mother Teresa said, “one day at a time!” I’m not mad at you so I hope you wonโ€™t be with me when I say things off the cuff. And, also; very nice photos from the family, your Dad and Mom are such a lovely wonderful couple, and wow, what a tremendous blessing for you to have them and I know you know this, but, I just wanted to say it lol! Also, I love the one of you and Daddy with his little girl dancing like that! OH, catch this, look what I just typed as part of the comment just before I saw your notification here! โ€œHusband goes out earning a living in a very extremely difficult gauntlet of major stress and built-in difficulty that canโ€™t be escaped, which he has to face head on, โ€œno short cuts!โ€ And, look at the quote photo you have here! Also I wasnโ€™t kidding about that dream I had right after I typed you a message one early morning recently when I woke up unexpectedly at 3 am, then after going right back to sleep I dreamed as plain as day that I was talking to you maybe in what was apparently NYC and I gave you one of those good bear hugs, which to me was symbolic of a spiritual hug occurring, because I want you to be alright, and I think God let it happen long distance like that to show us that we can send a hug that way and it works, at least on my end it did, LOL! Maybe you didnโ€™t even know it, but, I sure did, and, it was great and a good thing ; so I was hoping you got some message of it coming!
Keep up the way you are and you are fine you know that, and be careful always vigilant; I had to find out the very hard way this week when I wasnโ€™t; how it cost the life of my little Dove friend I had cared for since April, heartbreaking but I had a glitch in the program and I still have to see more as to why God allowed it, but, I only care about the hurt and maybe suffering of the Dove that I should have prevented, Iโ€™m ashamed and I should have done better. Sometimes Iโ€™m not only a klutz but even an idiot. I told you Iโ€™m such a Klutz once before to which you said, โ€œArenโ€™t we all.โ€ But, never did I say an idiot, so this is an all-time new thing right? Well, hopefully you got a laugh upon my exit now like you did when you read the โ€œCold Oneโ€ comment. Maybe I do need a Cold One! Iโ€™ll put that off for sure, not much of a drinker here! Hey, I know, Iโ€™ll go have some of my Sparkling Apple Cider! Whoopee!!!
So, Chill now, is all we both should be doing; I figure about now!
        God speed,
        Lawrence ๐Ÿ–– ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ–– ๐Ÿ˜‡ ๐Ÿ’— โœ๏ธ ๐Ÿ’— ๐Ÿ˜‡ ๐Ÿ–– ๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ––

      • WOW! Aren’t you kind! So, you meant “my typos” we’re all good or did you mean, “in my dreams?” Don’t worry, I’m only double checking or being extra careful is all. Because if there’s one thing I don’t like to keep doing is having typos or the same dreams too. Both actually can be so annoying, don’t you think?

  16. If you are against abortion, then the race shouldnโ€™t matter. Period. The numbers for Caucasians and other races are up there as well – young adults, women getting rid of babies to hide outside affairs, older women, etc. Using a movement such as Black Lives Matter to come up with a post this week for your blog to magnify the number of African American women abortions is not right. You said you are a Christian, then Iโ€™m trying to find out where the love is in this post. All I see is glorifying African American numbers to cause more dislike towards African American people. If you are against abortion, then it shouldnโ€™t matter what the race is โ€“ stand against it all. What happened to George Floyd has NOTHING to do with this subject. And bringing him up to justify the mean for this post is unfortunate. I noticed you said you have bible verses ready for someone if they want to go there with you, but might I remind you of this one: Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;…
Please do not pretend you have never sinned. We need more love in this country right now. I will not be surprised if this post is deleted, but I wanted to shine some light on this matter.

    • Hi friend, I’d like to apologize that this post offended you. I have in no way, shape or form, implied that I have never sinned. The whole point of my blog is to share my brokenness. So please hear me that I am not suggesting that. Also, I’m sorry that you feel I was glorifying African American abortion numbers, and using George Floyd’s death. I have stated in this post, and my three previous posts, how tragic and utterly wrong his murder was. All that to say, my heart was coming from a place of love for all of my brothers and sisters – regardless of life stage, race, background, etc. In the spirit of seeking justice for Black Lives, I felt it important to include all Black Lives. That was a action I took out of love. Not out of dislike — and I can assure you — I was not trying to cause dislike towards my African American brothers and sisters – I love them dearly, as we are all one family, on the same team. Believe me, I will be the first to admit that I come short of the glory of God every. single. day, but disrespecting people based on the color of their skin is not one. Again, I am deeply sorry that I offended you, and I appreciate you bringing your feelings and this perspective to my attention. Sending you so much love and hugs xox

      • Thank you for your response, and I’m glad that my post was received from a place of love. When we accept Christ, we’re one body. As written in 1 Cor 12:26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Sending you hugs back and much love โค

      • Absolutely ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿฅฐ

  17. You are so brave, you amaze me! Back in the day when I thought I was pregnant with my fourth child I went to the Dr for a pregnancy test. (You couldn’t buy them over the counter in those days). He suggested giving me a tablet rather than a test then I would never know if I was pregnant or not. To say the least I was stunned and declined. Today we share a house with our fourth daughter. She is an amazing, talented school teacher whose love for her students and those around her is only eclipsed by her love for God.

    • Thank you Veronica for your support, and for sharing your powerful story. Wow – I am so moved by that. God is so good!!!! What a blessing she is to so many ๐Ÿ™‚ Hugs and love xox

  18. I couldn’t agree more. They’re such hypocrites. They being the media, who is promoting all of this. And what are they doing in response here? Basically stripping NYPD completely. It’s a scary time to live in our city. Be safe!

    • Thank you so much Derek! You make a great point – the media-driven narriative is ruling the land right now. You too! Hugs and love xox

    • Oh Dennis, this fact breaks my heart. absolutely shatters it. thank you for bringing that harrowing truth to light. stay well. Hugs and love xox

    • thank you friend – I know, i’m right there with you. it is so so sad. truly tragic. Hugs and love xox

  19. Why do non blacks always divert from whatโ€™s actually going on. So youโ€™re saying theyโ€™re killing black babies in New York so why are โ€œyou peopleโ€ so upset?!??!!! The police kill far less of your population! Relax ๐Ÿ˜–๐Ÿฅด๐Ÿฅด REALLY!!???? Iโ€™m praying for you may God bless you.

    • Hi Jenni, thank you for your passionate response. I apologize if this offended you. I am upset, because of the value I see in each and every human life, including those in the womb. Those babies do not have a voice to speak out on the horrific injustice that is killing literally 56 million children annually, so I am speaking up on their behalf. God bless you too, my friend. Hugs and love xox

  20. Hi Caralyn! You know what I have a problem with regarding all of this is how such insane attention was focused on Floydโ€™s apparent worldwide witnessed murder then how the MSM hammered it and concocted it into this perfect storm of propaganda to divide the races and attempt to sow seeds of discontent throughout in a general election year that all the MSM and elite want BIDEN to win evil as they all are, using this as a such a tool, telling us all how unjust this death was and how Blacks in general are treated as inferior than the rest of us; and that just isnโ€™t true! Where the hell is all the media and the elites or Hollywood or Liberal wealthy Jet Set when all the babies any skin color are being butchered full term in New York State now or when Mike Bloomberg told his employee when she approached him with the fact she was pregnant and would need maternity leave and he just said KILL IT! What the frig is that why arenโ€™t all the same people screaming bloody murder out on the streets burning building down over the innocent babies being butchered or what about the Black murders every day by other Blacks? Or why isnโ€™t the media making a 3 ring circus out of what Bloomberg said, why not; because heโ€™s a rich powerful dirty rotten low life, but the MSM is bought off and wonโ€™t touch him. There are more violent crimes being committed by Blacks on Blacks than white doing the trigger pulling! No outrange or MSM playing that tune all month long 24/7! You know what I hate is hypocrisy and this country is loaded to the friggin gills with it and it comes in all shapes, sizes and colors; so I don’t by any of this crap. Floyd they are now finding did resist the police in a squad car and was extremely unruly which is a problem with many Blacks who cop an attitude and say don’t mess with me and they egg it on or encourage the poor treatment sometimes; even watching the highly publicized cases we see them run or try to fight the police and they make themselves look like out of control maniacs so if I was a cop I would be leery of some drug crazed out of his skull Black suspect that will most likely start coping the race card or how bad they are treating him when itโ€™s no different than any other suspect or person being questioned by the police. Compliance with law enforcement is a cardinal rule for anyone that has their wits or half a brain. They are the law enforcers so if you get pulled over and asked to step out and get frisked it could be that someone was seen fleeing from a crime fitting your general description or they have no description but you happen to be close to the scene of the crime. I got pulled over in my lifetime and all I did was say yes sir and no sir and if they wanted me to show them ID or asked me to open my car trunk I did it; I didn’t start screaming I got rights you pigs! Adversarial that is what nobody should want to be with cops, just comply and be polite and things should always not escalate that way, and you can be on your way or if you did wrong them you go to the clinker for the night and get bailed out; that isnโ€™t so damn complicated is it? We have way too many people in this country with lack of respect of authority like spoiled rotten punk attitudinal idiots, and even to the old lady down the street, this is like people have no clue what normal civility is anymore in some places. Al Sharpton the race baiting floor flushing bum was all over this case making sure itโ€™s us against them the Whites the racists again as he did his whole stinking career making loads of cash for himself which to me makes him a low life parasite and his skin color has nothing to do with my opinion of him; just facts and he could be white green or purple that wouldnโ€™t matter to me ONE IOTA to me! I hate deception and fakery from any persons! That all came from Satan himself with the fall from grace, so I’ve had enough about poor Floyd, this is all bogus bullshit now! Sorry, I’m saying this here but you and others have gotten my goat big time, because nobody wants to be real and face the facts or the truth that this has been made into a firestorm for POLITICAL PURPOSES when it was another death and all the madness that followed and still is was not warranted or justified in the least; so what about all of that, are we going to face those animals that did all this destruction around the country the BLM and ANTIFA maggots or how about the murders, rapes etc. in Chicago over the last week, will they all be taken into custody and put them in cages and beat the dead horse 24/7 till everyone knows everything there is to know about all those perps? Not if the Chicago mayor gets her way the whacky left liberal! This country and world is so perverted and sick people are not even worth talking to anymore, because there is just way too much disconnect and propaganda flying around; that itโ€™s all become one big GAME!
Just like the Collusion Delusion Witch Hunt was by the evil corrupted Dem party treasonous liars and are any of them being raked over the coals 24/7 now that we know it was ALL LIES and FAKE to have a soft Coup dโ€™ etat of our current president! There is no JUSTICE anymore and so we should cry a thousand tears for FLOYD! This is a nuthouse joke, and so hypocritical and evil! Everyone is going to have hell to pay for all of this DECEPTION and EVIL!
There are so many phony two-faced people in this country now, in high and low places that I puke in my head on loop when I picture this lunacy and wickedness!
Look at the Pope he is a heretic and supporting a predator! Lies abound and rule! Pelosi and Schiff are prime examples how crime pays and the dirty get away with murder! So of course this immorality trickles down into the gutter and punks cop even a badass attitude saying if they can get away with all they do those criminals in Washington; I ainโ€™t doing anything this cop pig tells me!

  21. May God bless and honor you for speaking such important truth. May you not be discouraged or hindered by those who don’t agree and by their unjust responses. Keep speaking truth, Caralyn! There is a war being fought for the very soul of our country, and the taking of unborn life is a huge part of the evil side of the battle. I’m sharing this on my FB page. Stay strong!

    • thank you so much Patty, i really appreciate your support. I will always choose to be the voice for the voiceless, no matter the backlash. You are so kind and encouraging. thank you!!!! and you’re right – there is a warrrrr going on!!! thanks for passing this along. stay well! big big hugs xoxo

    • Thank you my friend – i truly appreciate your encouraging words. Hugs and love xox

    • Oh gosh thank you Robert, Iโ€™m so glad it resonated with you. Yeah, it is truly heart wrenching to think of. Hugs and love xox

  22. I don’t see a repost button, but I would love to post this on my page. You have captured my thoughts this week and rather than write something, I’d much rather share what you have already written. As a black woman who has a lot of feminist friends, I cannot count the arguments we have gotten into over this. I lost a mentor over this issue. Smart, intelligent, successful, educated women, who refuse to acknowledge the very truths you shared in this post. I can show them the truth and they still believe the lies! It is heartbreaking! I am hoping this current movement will wake them up. There are a lot of people in the black community now who are sharing this truth and speaking out about it and how it has been the biggest tool in the white supremacist tool box. Thank you for this post and please add a repost button. In the meantime, I’m posting link from my page to this blog post.

    • Hi Lena, thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your powerful perspective. I will be praying their voices be heard! And thank you for passing this along. Iโ€™ll work on the repost button! Hugs and love xox

  23. Oh, thank you so much for saying what needs to be said! I know that took major courage to push the publish button. This is an atrocity which grieves my heart so deeply I have yet to be able to put the words together as you have here. Blessings to you! โค

    • Thank you so much for your kind words! It grieves my heart too!! Prayers for all those impacted by abortion! Hugs and love xox

  24. Very well said. Itโ€™s just sad when the media lifts up certain cases just to get ratings, but doesnโ€™t pull up all the different injustices including this. They do it because most or a big part of their base are for abortions and will say itโ€™s their reproductive right to kill the child. Itโ€™s a much a right to kill a child, than it is to kill their coworkers because they might get in their way of a promotion at work. The depravity of the human race is truly showing in the United States.

    • Thank you so much for your support. Thatโ€™s a powerful analogy. Very true. Hugs and love xox

  25. it is a shame you have to have fear to speak truth, not only are you correct (and I come at the issue from a completely different angle actually, more scientific not that it matters) but one of the businesses deemed “essential” during the lockdown was abortion clinics, knee surgery for someone in pain ? nah. Corrective surgery for a host of painful ailments? Nah. Killing babies.. sure, can I get fries with that? It is truly disturbing. It is like you can’t say “yes, the george floyd killing is abhorrent” … “and so is this, let’s fix both”… no. It is either agree with the mob 100% or you’re a racist or whatever, I guess we just have to wear the truth and hope the light of that brings us through in all matters. Stay the good road, people are pulling for you, and we can all pull for each other for what we KNOW is right.

    • thank you David for your support, it truly means a lot! yeah that fact is such a devastating shame. Hugs and love xox

    • thank you Tonya, yeah its been quite a month, hasn’t it? so many prayers for our nation! love you my friend! have a beautiful day! Hugs and love xox

      • You too. Please do not get lost in the abyss of ugliness outside and focus on how God is polishing you and the rest of His bride inside. When we focus on Him, He gives us the proper perspective for that is the proper perspective. Easy to get distracted. This world is temporary, we are just passing through. Love you as always. Chin up, beautiful friend. ๐Ÿ˜„โค

      • Amen to that – I am so touched by this. Youโ€™re right – only passing through!

  26. Iโ€™m pro-choice (when itโ€™s done very early), but Iโ€™m thinking lately that abortion is also a symptom of how weโ€™ve just gotten so many things wrong. Oh, hereโ€™s a problem? Solve it with violence! How about solving problems with love and compassion? Why do so many women still have abortions? I think thatโ€™s an important question…

Always love your thoughtful posts! โค๏ธ

    • hi Paula, thank you for sharing your heart. i agree — violence is never the answer or the solution! love and compassion go a long long way!!!! literally any issue: love and compassion bring about healing and solutions! thank you for stopping by my dear friend! Hugs and love xox

  27. Such a great piece. For a man, who is desperately trying to have a child with his wife, this is the true genocide.

What we would give for a child is everything.

The statistics you gave on black abortions is shocking on their own.

Imagine the numbers combined for all races and then worldwide – 19,4million as at 16 June 2020 @ 07h30 CAT, and counting. A staggering 142,000 abortions per day this year already.

    This is the true genocide.

    • hi Stephen, thank you so much for sharing your heart. i will be keeping you and your wife in my prayers! you’re so right – it is true genocide, and the fact that our country and the world allows this to happen, it is such a grave injustice and so incredibly sad. ugh. sending big love and hugs to you and yours x

  28. Like so many other things I have awakened to during these past few weeks, my eyes were opened when I read this article. Thank you.

    • thank you so much Jazzdat, i’m so glad this resonated with you. i appreciate you stopping by! Hugs and love xox

  29. Love this article Caralyn. There are so many voices not being heard at the moment. Millions..
The trouble with people looking at abortion is actually convincing people that what is in the womb is actually human. For that I like the arguments Ben Shapiro posed to college students during the Q&A sessions he has. I honestly wish I was as knowledgeable or as articulate as he is in that regard.

I just watched video on Facebook, to which I will share with you on Messenger.

    • thank you so much! you’re so right – they are the voiceless generation that never were given a chance. it makes me so sick to think about. all of those beautiful children, lost in such a devastating way. you’re right – therein lies the challenge. oh and i LOVE ben shapiro by the way. his videos are everything. so is his podcast – i’m a daily listener! stay well!!! Hugs and love xox

    • thank you so much Penny, i really appreciate that. you’re right – every single life matters! especially those in the womb! Hugs and love xox

  30. You are right to ask where the outrage is about the abortion rate amongst black families but I fear you greatly over-simplify the problem. You might ask where is the outrage about the 23,000 babies that die each year in the first year of their lives – this is the number of deaths in black families that are additional to those of white families because of the higher neo natal death rate. You might ask about the outrage regarding the disproportionate deaths amongst black families as a result of lower life expectancy from poverty and disadvantage. I do take exception to the way the anti abortion lobby reduces a complex social problem to a moralistic single issue. If we want to do something about high abortion rates amongst black families, it is no use taking the moral high ground – we will have to do something about poverty and disadvantage. I am pro-life – not just pro the life of the unborn.

    • hi Wordwool, thank you so much for this thoughtful response. you pose some very powerful questions. You’re right – to be prolife means to be prolife not just for justice for the womb, but justice for all life, including safe homes where children can thrive. these are powerful considerations, and i appreciate you bringing this important perspective. Hugs and love xox

  31. Unfortunately yet again a commentator greatly oversimplifies the issue.
To be outraged about the abortion rate of black babies and call it the true genocide in comparison to the slaughter of black adults and children is insulting at best. To speak of the terribly high number of abortions without fully exploring or considering the socioeconomic conditions these children are unfortunately more likely to be born into is disingenuous.
Have you even thought about the structural and societal reasons why potential black mothers are not bringing these precious lives to full term? So much of it stems directly from the ills of structural racism and long term oppression of the black community and that is not acknowledged. You are being congratulated on your opinion by those who have no idea what it is to live with their skin as a target and have no idea what it is to raise children who will experience the same.
Pro life includes from conception to the grave. You would do better to educate yourself further before giving an opinion on something you do not appear to fully understand.

    • hi Bim, thank you for sharing your thoughts. i hear you and agree – prolife means conception to natural death. every single loss of life is tragic. i am not discounting that fact. every single loss of life. i choose to speak up for the innocent children in the womb, because they do not have a voice. they do not have the chance to speak up for themselves against the injustice done to them. that is why i speak up. i appreciate you joining the conversation. Hugs and love xox

  32. Your post got me checking just how much an abortion in New York is, $400. At least if it was more expensive, it might make people consider. This is a very sensitive subject with many angles.

Im completely against it but the real problem is that sex is no longer looked at as the sacred act that it is. I heard a quote about how younger people now stress more over losing their phones than their virginity.

I have nothing against people having sex but if people just want to have lots of sex why is there not a procedure that a woman or man can have so they are unable to have children until they decide to have one.

But to the blacks lives matter issue I hope all the protests don’t result in a second spike, cause that could cause even more global unrest.

    • thank you so much for sharing your heart. i agree – it is a very sensitive issue, and people feel very passionate about it, on all sides of the issue. and i agree – sex has lost its sacredness. wow – what an incredible quote about the phones. i’m with you there. especially living in the epicenter: NYC – i pray that we don’t see an other spike from all the protesting!! Hugs and love xox

  33. Carolyn I know you are passionate about this issue. I remember your silent vigil. I kind of agree with worldwool, about this. I am not in a position to know the figures but maybe there would be fewer abortions, if poverty were tackled more effectively. Truly caring for young women. Funnily enough I wrote this week about The Freedom Writers. It is a true story about a teacher in Los Angeles and her pupils. As you know I am a teacher. That is where my passion lies. Erin Gruwell is a teacher, who works with disdvantaged youngsters and helps them to tell their stories. Giving young people hope and a future, would probably lower abortion rates and also alleviate other issues in my view. If you want to investigate The Freedom Writers Foundation on You Tube Tube or Erin Gruwell you can hear their stories and what a difference a decent education and a caring dedicated teacher made in the lives of those young people. Often the best way you can help children, including unborn ones, is to help their mothers.
I admire your courage, even if I do not wholly agree with you.

    • Thank you so much for sharing your heart on this. Poverty is absolutely an issue. There are many other issues present in the wide array of circumstances that lead a woman to have an abortion, all of which should be addressed, so as to put an end to this devastating reality that results in the deaths of millions of children annually. I look forward to reading your article, and looking up that foundation. Thank you for passing that information along. I am inspired by the solutions youโ€™ve presented!! Thank you! Hugs and love xox

  34. I admire your courage in posting such a hot-button issue. Itโ€™s one I struggle with constantly, but there is no doubt something needs to be done to help black people have the same opportunities as everyone else. Thanks for your thoughtful post…

    • Thanks Jim – yes people feel very passionately on all sides of this issue. Youโ€™re right – the solution will be multifaceted, thereโ€™s no doubt about that! I appreciate you stopping by! Hi

    • Thanks Amanda, I appreciate your stopping by. It really is so sad. Hugs and love xox

  35. Love that you took the time to write and post this with God spurring you courageously…Iโ€™ve had these same thoughts this week as I heard a recent sermon where the pastor pointed out the same thing.
Hypocrisy becomes an issue when one stands strongly for BLM but turns around and aborts their baby…sad truth.
I may not agree with all the pieces of the BLM organization but I stand firmly on the fact that ALL LIVES MATTER โ€” no matter the color (or age)…God be with our mess of a world!!

    • Thank you so much Ali for your support. Youโ€™re so right about that – the hypocrisy is real. Amen – all lives are precious in Godโ€™s sight – from conception to natural death! Iโ€™m praying with you! God help our world! Sending so much love xox

  36. You are right but in order to stop it we have to address why it happens. We have to learn from the bottom up. Better education, better health care. Hope for a future. We have never found the answer to the underlying problems for EVERYONE who seeks an abortion.

    • This is such a powerful response. Youโ€™re so right – prologue practices begin in homes so that abortion need not be a โ€œsolution. โ€ thank you for stopping by! Hugs and love xox

    • Thank you Courtney! I think the fact that itโ€™s been hidden away is one of the saddest parts. They are the voiceless!! ๐Ÿ™ stay well! Hugs and love xox

  37. Good points. I understand like you do, this was THE reason for legalized abortion. I used to teach AFDC mothers and assumed they all kept their children. Of course their grandmothers raised the kids, but at least the mothers were able to get financial help for each one birth.

  38. You will need much prayer as you continue to expose the lie of abortion and the exploitation of women and families by Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers. I will pray for your voice to be heard and for you to be protected (and blessed!) in your journey. Thank you for speaking out. I truly wish more young women and men would do so.

    • Thank you so much Peggy. Yes – people feel very passionate about this sensitive issue, on all sides. Have you seen the movie Unplanned?? Thank you for your prayers. Know that youโ€™re in mine too! Hugs and love xox

      • Yes I’ve seen it. I live in Houston, home to the largest abortion facility in the western hemisphere -Planned Parenthood, of course. Abby Johnson has spoken at Houston Coalition for Life events. I volunteer for them.

      • Oh wow – what an amazing gift youโ€™re giving of your time. Thank you for that

  39. As a black woman, I have had these statistics brought up quite a bit. As a Christian, I stand with the Bible on its stance on abortion. It is wrong! The Lord tells each child is a gift from Him. I also say to this, for most of us, this situation in America seems hopeless. We came as slaves and have been victimized from thence. What hope do parents of black kids have that these injustices will not be their kids future? What hope do they have that they kids will not become just another statistic? Whereโ€™s the hope that the kids they bring into the world will a bright and prosperous future? I have a 22 and a 19 year old. They have already been called racist slurs and they are girls. The boys have it even worse. Is there hope?

    • Oh my gosh this just breaks my heart. Thank you for sharing your story. Youโ€™re right – we need pro life solutions for not just the injustice in the womb, but for the circumstances and situations many find themselves in in life. Hope and a future – thatโ€™s the key. I am so moved by your words. Thank you for sharing. Big hugs to you and Iโ€™ll be praying for your kids – wish i could give them a hug. Sending so much love xox

  40. I didn’t know. Thanks to your post, I do now. For that I’m grateful. Still, there is so much injustice going on in NYC, in the U.S. and around the world, it just seems so overwhelming. How can an individual Christian respond? What do we do? May the Lord have mercy. And may His Church take action!

    • Thanks Jeremy, yeah it is so sad. Those are powerful questions we each need to prayerfully consider! Hugs and love xox

  41. I agree with you. Abortion is wrong. In my opinion, it is reprehensible after the gestation period of three months. I, too, believe that it is genocidal. That said, I wish we could focus on the issue at hand within the moment without resorting to what about this? And what about that?
At some point, perhaps, there will be an uprising–a spontaneous protest–in response to the innocent life that is lost through abortion. Perhaps there will be reform and investment in the lives of children that are born in unfortunate circumstances. That would be worthy of protest, no doubt, just as this current state of unrest brought on by decades and decades of systemic abuse of people of color by the authorities of our municipalities, state and federal government is worthy of protest. Just my opinion.

    • Thank you for sharing your heart on this. I agree: reprehensible. You bring up really great points, and I fully support the current protest. The decades and decades of systematic abuse is without a doubt also reprehensible. I just thought that we canโ€™t fight for all black lives matter without including all black lives. I so appreciate you joining the dialogue and sharing this powerful perspective! Hugs and love xox

    • Thank you so much Lizzy. Iโ€™m glad it resonated with you! Hugs and love xox

  42. So on point. I have never understood how Planned Parenthood has been given a pass given their creation was routed in eugenics and eliminating minorities. They were not shy about their ties to Nazi ideology until after the war. Perhaps people will notice where there located and who theyโ€™re targeting. Great post!

    • Thank you so much for your support! It will never make sense to me how they have continually pulled the wool over our eyes. Makes me sick. Hugs and love xox

    • Thanks so much Dan. Iโ€™m glad this resonated with you. I appreciate your support! Hugs and love xox

  43. I agree with you, all lives matter. The decay of America is due to a lack of love. By love I mean the love that only God can give as described in 1st Corinthians 13:4-8. Without that there is no truth, no morality, no nothing. Who’s at fault? The church! Why? The church has lost her first love and her boldness. We need to step up and be bold again.

    • Thank you Bobby for sharing your heart. Youโ€™re so right – we need her presence now more than ever! Stay well! Hugs and love xox

  44. Brave and true post about such a tragedy! All these precious babies! Meant to be here making the worldโ€™s more beautiful. May we all have to courage to welcome every life that comes into this world as a gift!

    • thank you so much Anna, I appreciate your kind words – amen – may we welcome each as the precious gift it is! Hugs and love xox

  45. When I first read the stat. I put the phone down. I could not continue. So often I say there is no hope, but I know Romans 8:28 will always ring true. This is a cancer on our world, worse really.

  46. I had heard this statistic recently as well Carolyn. Thank you so much for speaking truth and shedding light on this tough and sensitive topic. You are always so compassionate and loving with your words. God bless you !

    • Thank you so much Kelli, it really is an abrasively startling fact, isn’t it? Thanks for stopping by. Hugs and love xox

  47. Wow your post brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for always blogging from a place of truth and compassion. It always comes through in your writings. Love this message- you really made me stop and think on the whole movement going on. Itโ€™s not just about the lives we see protesting itโ€™s about the babies who lost their lives. Itโ€™s about fighting for them too. Sending love to you as always ๐Ÿ’›xoxo Laura

    • thank you Laura for sharing your heart and for your support. It really is such a shocking and sad sad statistic. Makes me want to cry. I agree – it’s about fighting for them too. I appreciate you stopping by. stay well! Hugs and love xox

  48. I’ve just watched a sobering movie of someone driving through NY with all major stores boarded up. Don’t know if that’s reality or someone trying to doctor up the situation for their own purposes. One doesn’t know what to believe these days. I hear what you are saying but have been reflecting on the destruction and bullying on both sides of the fence which I equally disapprove of. I’ve spent a couple of days reflecting on what has happened around the world. I’m now convinced there is reason for frustration. Black people are an underprivileged lot with less opportunities in life. Less in access to money to rise through the layers of society though some few do luck out. Less in education which allows people to reason things through and a horrible host of memories of discrimination going back into the days of their enslavement. I wonder how I’d react if caught up in that predicament? Now I don’t approve of destruction but that is a natural consequence of being marginalized. What needs to happen is for all of us to see these people are raised through opportunities to a point where their children at least are considered an equal part of our society and treated as equals in society. Only then can we seek to promote an ideal moral code and I don’t believe in the combination of religion and government forcing people to abide by codes which government leaders and must I say it religious leaders and practitioners have not modelled in the way they live. That would take us all the way back to the persecutions of the middle ages. The US Constitution was put in place to see that doesn’t happen. We need to respect that as we deal with this crisis.

    • Thank you so much for sharing that. Yeah NYC is a sobering sight right now. Iโ€™ve been sharing photos on my Instagram as well. Yes – there is definitely reason for the outcry. It is so sad. And something must be done. Something must change. Thanks for sharing your heart. Hugs and love xox

  49. Oh, Caralyn, you are a gem. You have a unique gift of putting thoughts and words together and lacing them in grace and love. I hope you are well. โ™ฅ๏ธ

    • Thank you Terese, I so appreciate your support and kind words. God is good ๐Ÿ™‚ sending you big hugs and lots of love xox

  50. I’ll be blunt. Some of your readers are poorly informed (the gentleman who cited the Democrats as the party of the KKK obviously hasn’t read anything since 1963 — segregationists all moved to the GOP after passage of the Civil Rights Act, and Trump’s endorsement of David Duke simply shows that the relationship continues).

Look, the religious right helped to create the mess that you see, and it’s not targeted to blacks, but rather against all lower income people. By limiting access to other options for birth control, you have made abortion more of an inevitable result for the poor. While abstention is growing (and will add to economic hardship for us all in the future as it has in Japan), it’s still not a practical option given human nature here. Ready access to counseling and pills should have been available and would have prevented the current abortion wave.

My comment about Japan: a declining population will push more jobs offshore and prompt corporations to raise prices as they sell less. Just look what’s happening in the auto industry now. With lack of population growth, Japan went into an economic dead zone for two decades. We can and probably will do that here as a result of the economic and tax war against the middle class and poor. And evangelical leaders are backing the people conducting that war.

If you back the people who do harm, you shouldn’t be surprised at the result.

    • Hi Vic, thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. Yes, there should be proactive measures takes so that abortion doesnโ€™t have to be the only way out for many who find themselves in that situation. Hugs and love xox

  51. Thank you for posting about this Caralyn. This is what Iโ€™ve been telling people who are angry about BLM right now … the BLM movement is ignoring the most innocent and vulnerable of all. Iโ€™m so happy to see you using your platform to spread the real numbers โค๏ธ
power to the local dreamer ||-//

    • Thanks friend – yes. ALL black lives matter: from conception to natural death. Itโ€™s an โ€œinconvenientโ€ truth that is always forgotten because they are voiceless. Thanks for your support. Hugs and love xox

  52. Thnaks for that. It is really horrible and I just can’t get my head around it and can’t understand how we have lived with this and been almost silent about this for so long with barely a whimper from anyone in power or the church (with the exception of the Roman Catholic Church). It is much the same here in the UK and we have the scandalous situation where abortion has been hoisted on the people of Northern Ireland without their consent. All I can do is pray for mercy.

    • Thank you so much friend. I will join you in the incredibly important prayer. We mustnโ€™t remain silent anymore. Hugs and love xox

  53. Good post my friend and as someone of African descent I appreciate what you said here. I can’t get into too much from my end on how I feel about it all but this has been a very long and ongoing issue especially in this nation and it must stop, should’ve stopped already. This has torn this nation apart and has placed it in the worst place possible which is human right violations against people of color. And not being seen or treated as a human being is just inhumane to say the least. But okay, that’s all I’m going to say on this topic but thanks for posting this and being brave enough to tackle such a controversial topic and reality!!

    • Thank you so much! Iโ€™m so glad it resonated with you, and I appreciate you sharing your heart. Youโ€™re so right – it has torn our nation apart and I pray we see change, and soon! Hugs and love xox

    • Thanks Chrissie, yeah it broke my heart when i heard it. stay well. Hugs and love xox

    • thank you so much Victor for your encouraging words and support. it truly means so much. Hugs and love xox

  54. I agree with you, I have made many statements and preached many sermons on the horrible state that we are in. This sin of murdering the unborn does not go unnoticed by the God who knows us from before we were formed in the womb. Grace and Peace to you and your family in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ

    • Thank you friend. Youโ€™re right – God mourns the loss of every child lost to abortion. Stay well. Hugs and love xox

  55. I find it interesting that, as a Black woman, a white woman is trying to compare what happened to many Black men/women and abortion. And to have your belief in the matter is one thing, but to judge someone about their decisions is another story. God cares for every life, of course he does. But does that give us permission to grab our statistics and Bible thumping to prove that people that choose a different path for their lives need punishment? Or saving? Or anything of the sort? I usually connect well with your posts, but I can’t help but to think yet again how a white person is trying to determine what is right and wrong for Black bodies and speaking for us as if we don’t have mouths of our own.

Whether your intention was that or not, your impact sits at a level I’m highly disappointed in. I’m starting to think that the anxiety previous to posting this was God telling you to slow your roll and think about the impact your words would have to your BLACK readers. Such as I. Or maybe the ignorance of your post is there to set a standard opportunity for growth and understanding, only He knows at the moment.

It’s sad to see this. Very sad. But the one thing I will say to end this, don’t tell people what they should be angry at. Especially the BIPOC in this country who have been told what to do and think for generations by our oppressors.

  56. Keep up the good fight and heartfelt wisdom my friend, in both your internal and external worlds. Cognitive dissonance is the tough and lonely wall at which we chisel. However, glancing at your blog & spin-offs, you are making a crack. On behalf of us all, thank you for that. Faith, not fear, forever. You are doing well…

    • Thanks so much Richie! I really appreciate your kind words of encouragement. it means a lot!! Hugs and love xox

    • Thank you so much Erika! ๐Ÿ™‚ I appreciate your encouraging words! Hugs and love xox

  57. Youโ€™re right! I feel like there are so many other โ€œshiny thingsโ€ out there distracting is from issues that are bigger and more deserving of our attention. This world seems completely upside down. But, His word told us it would happen.

    • thank you so much Deeds! you’re so right – He told us to expect this — and to keep our eyes on Him. Sounds like that’s the solution! And pray! ๐Ÿ™‚ Hugs and love xox

  58. I agree with you on that! I mean half of these “planned” protests and riots by the evil masses and the elite themselves are staged and pushed so terribly by their Satanic agenda that has blinded the minds and eyes and heart of man so much that most of us are thinking we’re still on the narrow path of life when it’s on the broad and dark one that leads to hell and damnation! It’s time to wake up people! Smell the coffee that’s already boiled over the stove! Is this really true justice? Of course it’s not. It’s fake and wicked I say. God bless and thanks for your true outcry! Blessings!
