Getting Accosted in Times Square

Ten years from now, when this pandemic is hopefully as distant of a memory as Lady Gaga’s meat dress…it’s going to be really interesting to see how 2020 impacted life going forward.

Everything from health and travel regulations, to the impact of distance learning and working on our children and employers, to the population balance of urban vs. rural, to how the entertainment industry and crowd-bearing events recover.

It will be very interesting to see how the country bounces back, or bounces in a completely different direction all together.

But one thing that will be particularly interesting to see, is how it recovers from such a potent and vehemently divisive – not only election season – but ideological divide in our nation.

From both sides — there are some extreme, extreme camps of thought. Case in point…

I was taking a walk with my special gentleman through Times Square last weekend. It was a beautiful day, and we decided to get some fresh air before what appears to be a looming lockdown.

And as we’re just walking hand in hand down the sidewalk, this woman — probably 36, no mask — gets up in my face like a whirlwind. She has this crazed look in her eye, and she looks directly into my eyes and goes, “I’m gonna bomb your country.”

It was in this intense – don’t mess with me – hushed tenor that gave me chills down my spine. It was the kind of look and sound that a serial killer would have.

I was shaken up, but my boyfriend steered us out of there, and then we both kind of laughed it off, as…”typical NYC.”

But that stayed with me, obviously, for quite some time. “Bomb your country.” YOUR country.

Now, here is where I have to interject something kind of out of left field.

I…look like I could be half-Asian.

Nearly every new acquaintance I meet asks me if I am; I get numerous private messages on Instagram about it every week; my acting agent has me listed as “ethnically ambiguous.” When I’m on photo shoots, the makeup artist always assumes I’m Asian. I get cast in shows as the mother/sister of Asian children.

I even did a video advertisement on social media recently for a Korean Skincare brand. (Which — by the way, if you use my code, “Beauty20” you get 20% off their Magnet Mask — it’s legitimately awesome…check it out here.)

But anyway — I don’t know if it’s the shape of my eyes, or my face shape, or my dark hair, or complexion…but this German/Irish gal from Ohio passes an Asian woman!

Which, to be clear, is amazing. I think Asian people are absolutely stunning, so I take it as a major compliment!

But thinking about that Times Square incident, I realized that this woman wanted to bomb “my country” because she thought I was Asian, and therefore “responsible” for the Coronavirus — or as some refer to it, as “The China Virus.” She thought that “my country” was “responsible” for the “Wuhan Flu” (as some also call it), and had so much hatred and prejudice in her heart that she was literally accosting Asian people on the street.

How tragically, tragically sad.

This woman had drank that Koolaid, and let such extreme ideology of hate influence her actions, and words, and clearly — her wellbeing. It lead her to make a snap judgement about me, just from the shape of my eyes that she saw above my mask.

And sadly, that’s not the only instance of such prejudicial hatred surrounding Asian people during the pandemic. During the lockdown-lockdown last March, my boyfriend would send me videos of Asian men and women getting harassed or physically assaulted in the streets because of their nationality, and being “linked by heritage” to Wuhan and the origins of the Coronavirus.

It was just disgusting to see.

And unfortunately, this is just one instance. There are examples on both sides of extreme political thought. Sure, she was an extremist on the right wing. But all summer, we saw radicals on the left looting and rioting shops and businesses, all having bought into their own extreme political ideological thinking.

And what’s the scariest thing about all this, is that it is those are the loudest voices,– the squeaky wheels which get the grease — thus, shaping our politics, our preconceived notions about the “other political party,” and the news stories broadcast on a national and global level.

So where do we go from here? How do we heal such deep-seeded beliefs and prejudices? What is the solution?

Because we are going to have to learn how to coexist peacefully and in a respectful manor, or this country will tear itself apart at the seams.

As for prejudicial treatment of Asians, or anyone for that matter? That is an injustice that absolutely must come to an end. It is ignorant. It is wrong. And frankly, it’s just downright sad: because if you judge someone, you’re missing the opportunity to love them.

This spring and summer was the season of Black Lives Matter. Conceptually, that was good and important. (What the actual BLM organization stands for — that’s a horse of a different color.)

But what is true, is that every. single. life. matters. No matter the skin color. The nationality. The education level. Political affiliation. Religion or sexual orientation. Every life. From the womb to natural death — every life matters. Has dignity. Has value. Has an inherent worth.

Because at the end of the day, we are all children of God. That is what unites us all. That is what is going to bridge the divide, and heal the deeply divisive rift in this country: realizing that we are all on the same team.

It is my deepest prayer that we can set aside differences and remember that we are all on the same team, and headed in the same direction: to Heaven. And we should be striving to help one another in our journey towards our eternal home.

((And almost in perfect orchestration, I literally just heard out my window, “Watch where you’re going, you F***ING C*** SUCKER!“))

Looks like we’ve got a long way to go on that front. That, or maybe, like my Times Square Friend, there are just a lot of really angry people walking around these city streets.

Guess we’ll never know.

But one thing’s for sure…God’s got one heck of a sense of humor. And he’s trying to tell me to wrap it up!

Until next time…

“This is what the Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.” Ez 37:5

  1. Wow, I’m glad you two are OK, Caralyn! Honestly, I would call the police considering her words. We know who’s really behind the racism, paranoia and so on. Stay safe and well. 😊

    • Thanks John – yeah it’s really sad that people carry so much hatred in their hearts. I know – one source for sure. Hugs and love xox

    • Thanks friend. Yeah it was pretty wild. To think that people walk around with such hatred in their hearts. It’s really sad. Hugs and love xox

      • If you look at the history of Chinese and Japanese immigration policy in the 19th century, it was a lot worse. Lots of racism there too. However, I also want to change my own focus to Christ and the Church. I want to see a message of reconciliation, just as I was a sinner and needed to be reconciled with God. To be focused on heaven and the coming rule of Christ

      • Yeah it really is so sad what Asian Americans have gone through. Yes! Reconciliation. That is an amazing place to begin the healing process.

    • So glad you’re safe Caralyn! One of the young men from my church is from Wuhan actually. His parents are living there currently, and there is definitely a lot of mistreatment. Even though their government may be corrupt in a lot of ways, it’s definitely not the people’s fault. Also, I have always thought you looked of Asian ethnicity, and that is indeed a complement! There’s so much beauty in different ethnicities. 💙

      • Thanks Emily! It makes me so sad to see the rampant racism in this country, particularly around the virus. It is so sad. You’re right. And thank you!! I agree – I think there is so much beauty there! Major compliment!!! 🙂 so glad you stopped by! Have a great night! Hugs and love xox

  2. With any luck, you will have far more opportunities ahead of you to rub elbows with the like-minded, rather than with the mad. Your days off are great!

    God Bless You.

    • Thanks Odell. Yeah – I hope so! There are certain all kinds of interactions to be had in this great city! Hugs and love xox

  3. Hi C! So sorry that happened to you. Sad that some folks mistake people for ideologies. Will have to pray for that person.

By the way, folks aren’t paying attention to your eyes. It’s been my observation that those of Asian descent have acute angles on the outside of their eyes. You have acute angles on the inside. Not sure where that genetic attribute comes from but the result is that you have absolutely gorgeous eyes! 😊

One thing I’ll have to disagree with you on, though, and it’s actually the answer to your question regarding “now what?” We aren’t all children of God, we aren’t all headed toward heaven. Every human is a creation of God, made in His image and filled with great worth because of His sacrifice for us, but we must choose to accept His sacrificial gift and become His children. It’s because some have not made that choice that we have the problems you described and witnessed. That’s the answer to the problem. Accepting Jesus and becoming His children so we gain heaven.

Those of us who made the choice and are His children need to do as you say, see past the ideologies and problems and recognize the people. People who need Jesus. People who are loved and pursued by Him. He’s the answer to all our problems.

Hope you have a better weekend!! 🤗

    • Thank you so much Kenneth – you’re right – I need to pray for that woman. I appreciate this powerful food for thought. That’s a great point- we are all God’s creation, and we have to choose to follow and love Him. That’s very true. Recognize the people. What a powerful response. thank you. Hugs and love xox

      • Thanks, but I just reworded what you said, “if you judge someone, you’re missing the opportunity to love them.” Take the opportunity to love them. That’s exactly what God would have us do. So, thank you! 😊

      • You’re right – that’s what He would have us do 🙂 you’re too kind Kenneth!

  4. It is sickening to me that we are a society of blamers, shamers and labelers. I have said it before and I will say it again. “Hate the act, not the actor”. So sad that the weaponized saying “China virus” or “Wuhan flu” made you a target. Those with a public megaphone should show more restraint and respect, before somebody gets seriously hurt s a result of their comments.

In our nearby city, masks are mandatory in all businesses and and alcohol service ends early at 10:00 PM in bars. A woman came into a bar at 10:05 PM without a mask and demanded a drink. When she was told to put on a provided mask and then told she could not be served, she smashed a glass into the server’s face, requiring 17 stitches to close the wound. People are at the breaking point and some are not all there to begin with.

Right wing, left wing, moderate, centrist, socialist, feminist, misogynist, homophobe, etc. etc….as long as we keep labelling people, we are part of the problem. There should be no need to list each individual group, trait or creed, etc. that we are not allowed to discriminate against. It should be enough to say treat everyone with respect. In the end, we are all human beings and should do as the Bible says, Do unto others…. People who insist on their rights are fine, as long as they realize their rights can not impede the rights of others. Stay well and hopefully the insanity stops soon. Allan

    • Thanks for sharing this powerful response. I agree – the act not the actor!! Oh my gosh!!! I cannot believe that! So sad. You’re right – we’ve reached breaking point. Gosh I pray that things settle. Thanks Allan. Hugs and love xox

  5. We are all such a mixture. My ex husband’s eyes had an Eastern feel about them. I loved them. Looking into the family tree, the children and I have decided it is likely Eastern European influence. My family appears to have olive skin going way back. Our great indigenous athlete, Kathy Freeman has a GG Grandfather, who came from the same tiny West Country village as my GG Grandfather. I found a guy on You Tube who seems able to prove that if we look back far enough, we are all related.

    • I live that – we’re all a mixture. So true! America has always been called the great American melting pot! Oh wow!! That’s so cool. I love families lineage. So fascinating! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs and love xox

  6. This was certainly a weird one! Asian?? I’m just glad it didn’t get physical!! I am so tired of people hating and yelling and being mean!

Julie and I just got home from having dinner, and I’m afraid I’m a bit weary and not thinking really straight. No alcohol. Just…age? Anyway, I think the answer is for everyone to send each other Christmas cards with churches and mangers on them. We all put them on our mantles or dressers, smile, and feel good about reconnecting with friends. It’s hard to hate and say “Merry Christmas” at the same time, don’t you think?

By the way, love the face mask. It’s you.

    • Thanks Jeff. Yeah me too! Grateful that she kept on walking and didn’t stop to really get into it! I agree. There was a sign somewhere that read “Mean people suck.” Excuse the colorful language there but it’s so true!! I think you’re absolutely right. Nothing better than sending a little reminder of why were festive and celebrating. The miracle of Christ’s birth and our Savior coming down to save and rescue us! It’s a beautiful thing, especially when it also used to connect with people! Looking at your Christmas card right now:) thank you Jeff. You’re a great friend. Have a wonderful evening. Hugs to you and your girls! Xox

    • you’re right – gotta focus on love, and loving GOd, and loving others! thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your heart! Hugs and love xox

    • Hi Greg – yeah it was quite the episode to say the least. thanks for that. Hugs and love xox

  7. Awhile back some guy in a pickup truck gives you the double bird while your out for a run, and now a crazy acting lady gets in your face, threatening to 💣 your country? Girl, Cincinnati, Ohio is looking better by the day! I’m just glad your boyfriend was with you this time!

    • oh my gosh i didn’t even put two and two together like that! wowwww – you’re right David – Cincinnati — aside from its Covid spike right now — is looking more and more appealing! hope you ahve a beautiful weekend! thanks for stopping by! Hugs and love xox

  8. Yes you do look Eurasian. You’ll remember I asked. Also you’ll remember I am Eurasian. I have lost jobs because of my mixed race and that is Canada Interesting when my Celtic wife told her mother she was going to marry a half Chinese the only question she got was “Is he Christian?” That was some how comforting. Of course I’m Christian – a High Anglican.

    • Yes, I do remember! i take that as a compliment! oh my gosh, i’m sorry to hear you went through that. It sounds like your mother in law is a smart woman 🙂 Becuase she’s right — all that matters is the heart! 🙂 thanks so much for stopping by and for sharing that. have a great weekend! Hugs and love xox

  9. I have some very good news for you.

You’re going to see in the next two weeks the election change from what looks like an a win for Biden to an obvious one for Trump.

It was always Trump’s win. He won. He is going to prevail.

The damn has already begun to crack. The water is gushing forth. Soon the valley is going to be flooded.

It was never Trump’s victory without the Lord’s. The Lord started this thing. The Lord is going to finish it.

I saw Trump in a vision several years ago. The Lord called him, and he accepted the call. I saw him standing before the throne of God. Jesus was seated on the throne.

    God finishes what he started.

    • Oh gosh, I do hope you are right. It is just so sad to think about where the country could go if Biden is sworn in. Thanks for sharing that. Hugs and love xox

    • You’re absolutely right – i really have. kind of remarkable, in such a godless city!! He is always close by! Hugs and love xox

  10. I read my Bible every day. It tells me repeatedly that this is a fallen world and it will continue to be overtaken by sin and its consequences until our Lord returns. It makes me even more grateful that, come what may, I belong to a loving God and not to anything/anyone else – Eternally. Hallelujah!

    • That’s so powerful, Rollie. You’re right – we belong to Him, and must wait patiently and with bated breath for His return. Hugs and love xox

  11. Be strong, I was a witness to what the city used to be, when I was 18-ish or so (damn that seems ages ago – and it was) the city was a cesspool, Times Square ? please… it was all peep shows, it was not the bright lights of now (all neon and seedy), it has been weird for me to see how bright that space is now (literally)… for you to even think you can walk down that way is anathema to me.. but was reality for some recent years until lately… and I am glad for that, but now? I would hope riverside drive is a better walk (and view). NYC has fallen before, it will rise again, when? I don’t know, but hope… light. Regardless of how bad it has gotten it has been better… and that is why we fight. It is exhausting, and the win never seems within reach – sometimes… but trust me, I have seen the city WAY worse than it is now… which is bad, but it came back, be like a mountain in the rain, the deluge may wash away some of the facade, but a mountain still rises above the valley…

    • Hi David, thanks for sharing that. yeah, NYC has certainly been cleaned up, thank goodness! Now – ever since they slashed — literally one billion dollars — from the NYPD budget, things are slipping, i hate to say. But you’re right – defintiely a lot better than before! Hugs and love xox

  12. Oh wow, I’m so sorry to hear about your unfortunate encounter! What crazy times we live in. It’s sad to see our nation so deeply divided during a time when we should be coming together to fight this pandemic.

    – Katie

    • Thanks Katie – you’re right, what times we live in in deed. I agree – if there was ever a time that we needed unity, now would be it! big prayers for this nation. Hugs and love xox

    • Hi Peter, like I said, it’s on both sides. this was one example from the extreme right. All spring and summer were examples from the extreme left. Both sides. Hugs and love xox

    • Thank you Penny, oh my goodness, I am humbled by such kind words. Thank you, my friend. God is good, and I just pray that His healing pour over this nation and our world at large. Hugs and love xox

  13. May we see God move in through those who call on the name of Jesus to display what AGAPE love is! And may we see many healed and blessed by the unity of the Body of Christ! Thanks for your writing!

    • Amen to that, Dr. Rick. Yes! May He pour out His healing on this nation and our world! Thank you for stopping by! Hugs and love xox

      • Thanks 🙂 absolutely! I appreciate you taking the time to comment!! 🙂 have a great weekend xox

  14. Great post. Another great example of how the two corporate parties in the U.S. have created chaos. Its actually brilliant marketing because once they can get you into one of the columns then they can market and sell to you. The worst part is people gobble it up, and keep voting for the same D or R year after year never daring to say “isnt there a better 3rd 4th or 5th option?”

It’s both sides, of course the other will say “X people are full of hate, dont you see?” which in of itself is a hateful statement… Its a paradox that I dont think is going to go away soon. Many, on both sides seem to love it. You are either with us or against us… Thats where we are. Im so sorry you had to deal with this. Take care.

    • Hi Karac, thank you so much. You’re right — they have created, perpetuated, and drum up chaos as best they can. it makes me really sad actually. you’re right, it’s on both sides. Thanks for your kind words. Hugs and love xox

  15. I’ve always been attracted to Asians.!My cousin who is white is married to a girl from Japan. My other cousin dated a girl from Thailand. Our generation is making waves when it comes to biracial couples, and that is a beautiful thing.

My 4-year old daughter looks white even though she’s Eurasian. She looks more like me than my husband who has Singaporean/Chinese roots.

    • Hi Hilary! That’s awesome! Yeah me too! Dating a wonderful Filipino man! 🙋🏻‍♀️ aww she sounds like a cutie!!! 🥰 hope you guys have a fabulous weekend! Stay well! Hugs and love xox

  16. I am so saddened by the hatred I have seen in people’s hearts, and yet Jesus told us it would be like this more each day as we approach the end days. It serves to remind me to reflect Christ in mind, body and spirit as the day draws near. I am glad you are alright from the interaction.

    • Me too, friend. It is so sad to see. You’re right – we must stay close to God and keep our eyes on Christ!! Thank you for your kind words. Hugs and love xox

  17. Okay, first of all, I HAD forgotten about Lady Gag’s meat dress, thank you very much for the reminder! !-( (:-) )
In case you missed it, I blogged sorta on the theme of “where will you be in 5 years” back in September: https://capost2k.wordpress.com/2020/09/12/be-ready-for/. 😉
As for the “bounce back,” I do not believe it will come. While I optimistically look forward to Jesus coming back and Father protecting His own until then, it strikes me that our nation is in a downward spiral similar to Israel before the Babylonian captivity; this is the primary prophetic theme of the OT prophets.
Our ideological divide is not likely to decrease, but as Christ-followers die off, fewer are being inducted into faith in Jesus, and the divide between those who love their enemies and those enemies will widen, resulting in increasing social and cultural hostility to those who DO believe.
Concerning BLM, Inc, the ideology and theme of the organization is Marxist philosophically, Communist economically, and fascist politically (in spite of their alignment with the fascist “Antifa”). They do NOT care about black lives, else they would act to stem the pre-birth slaughter of so many black babies. (See https://capost2k.wordpress.com/2020/08/22/black-lives-matter-shepherds-or-thieves/)
As you note, we are all children of God, and the difference in melanin that accounts for our skin color is less that the difference between red heads and blonds (or brunettes 😉 ).
Are we “headed in the same direction?” Sadly, no. Check out The Great Divorce by C.S.Lewis to see some insights into why some will refuse Heaven, even when offered clearly. John 9:41 notes that some who claim to see are blind, and their guilt will remain.
BUT our job is to continue to reason, guide, prophetically speak the truth and LOVE even our enemies until God brings true justice to the world. NO one is going to like that! Even those of us who are spared because of our faith, hope and love will only be able to be thankful that He is merciful to us who believe.
Justice will not bring peace to any of us; it will bring justice.
    love and prayers, c.a.

    • Thank you so much! Oh gosh, that is certainly a sobering prediction. I do hope we can bounce back! Thank you for this perspective. He really is a merciful Father! Hugs and love xox

  18. Great post, even though I’m so sorry about that crazy and scary altercation. Hatred, lies, prejudice are from the enemy – the spiritual one, not people. Praying for the love of Jesus to overcome the darkness of the enemy. May it start with each one of us!

    • Thank you so much Laura, you’re so right – all of that negativity is from the enemy. Prayers for sure! Hugs and love xox

  19. Hatred is all too common in a world that clearly has plenty of more pressing issues.. I’m sorry that happened to you, your reaction was refreshing, learning not to engage this type of negativity is important. I’m finally learning! #StayBlessed🦋

    • You’re so right about that – hatred is way way way too common. thank you for your kind words. Hugs and love xox

  20. Very NYC moment… had plenty of them myself back in the day. As to how society is changing, at risk of imposing biological models on sociological models, I am reminded of a writer, Stephen Jay Gould, whom I really enjoyed reading. He was associated with the Natural History Museum in NYC, as I recall. Anyway, he advocated the idea a that nature evolves in a punctuated manner, not a gradual manner. In other words, rather than eons of little changes, nature exists in relative stability until something occurs that forces species to change. Maybe a period of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions; maybe an asteroid strike; maybe period of earth heating or ice ages, etc. Of course, while some of the events may occur rapidly, the results take centuries to see.

What we are going through now, I might speculate, connect back to our Revolution against British colonialism. How many wars were fought with one part of Europe trying to control the rest? We brought in nationalism and independence. France followed. Other countries followed. We fought a Civil War over union versus fragmented states. We fought two world wars, a cold war, and now another middle east series of wars. Britain tried to dominate the world. We and Russia played chicken for 50 years. China now asserts its population dominance. Who knows what 2021 or 2100 will bring.

Of course, Jesus did the same thing to the Greek and Roman dominance a while back too. Keep the fatih. – Oscar

    • Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this! that’s a powerful thought, Oscar, we must keep the faith! Hugs and love xox

  21. Regarding your appearance Caralyn, there is a true story told in Sri Lanka about a Policeman who took his wife to court.
Every morning, he would go to work.. he would kiss his wife “Good Bye” and then walk off… His wife would watch her husband walk down the road till he disappeared. She was pregnant. Around the same time as she watches her husband walk away, a Chinese delivery boy would pass by on a bicycle delivering noodles.
This happened every morning, like clock work. She would watch her husband walk away and then she would see this delivery man pass by on his bicycle. Never took much notice of it.
After the baby was delivered, the policeman was upset, because the child looked oriental. He accused the lady of cheating; which she denied. Tests (how accurate they were) proved the child’s father was the Policeman. However, he refused to accept this and took his wife to court. In court he laid out his case…
“You put mango seed, you get mango. You put apple seed, you get apple. I am putting policeman, how China-man coming?”…

It seems that sometimes, when women are pregnant, if they are in contact with oriental people, sometimes, by association, the child can come out as oriental. Its weird, I know, but it happens. It actually does. And in some cases, the oriental features will disappear as the person gets older, but in some cases they stay..
Its that way for my brother. You see, my father was best friends with a pastor and together they helped start a church. This pastor’s wife is Filipino. While my mom was pregnant with my brother, she was also pregnant with their first child and hence both of them hung out together. The two families were inseparable. When my brother was born, my brother looked oriental. He did not look like my mom or dad.. I don’t have the pictures, but there are photos of him when he was 2 years old and everyone thinks he looks like an oriental kid. While much of it disappeared as he got older, he still retained some features. When we were in Thailand, people thought that he was Thai.
I guess you could ask the same questions… How does a Sri Lankan, Portugese-Dutch descent, guy get to look like a Thai-Filipino, etc.?
I would argue, by simple association. I have no idea how it happens, but it does.
Perhaps if you ask your mom, if she was in contact with many Asian people during the time she was pregnant with you; you might find the answer.

You are correct. There is far too much extremism in both sides of the arena and it is so sad.
Watching a video posted by Tucker Carlson, it seems that this virus has been spreading long before it was even reported; as early as mid 2019. It is evidenced by blood collected by Red Cross being tested positive for the virus. And we know that the Chinese government has not been completely forth coming with the information about the virus – even though the media wants us to believe that. So, with all of that information, I still won’t go around blaming anyone that remotely looks Asian. That’s racist and wrong. Plus we know very well that the Chinese people cannot do anything to control the actions of their government; even if they wanted to. So what would be the point?

Instead of hurling insults and threats at each other, we should work together to save the freedoms before they are taken away.

    • you’re so right about that Joseph…so much work to do! thanks for stopping by!Hugs and love xox

  22. I follow a traveling nurse on Twitter who is the daughter of Chinese immigrants. Her parents run a Chinese restaurant in her home town and have been subjected to all kinds of prejudice. So sad.

    • Hi Shauna, oh wow – that is just heartbreaking to hear. thanks so much for stopping by and sharing that. this world needs love! Hugs and love xox

  23. “ethnically ambiguous” not to be snarky, but aren’t we all . Nice, job of your gentleman friend redirecting your route, away from someone who clearly seems to be suffering from a mental illness. He could be a keeper…

  24. Join the club. I have one of those faces that no matter where I go, they think I’m whatever. In Hawaii, Hawaiian, Italian etc. My girls all look Asian as well, but I think that’s the native American coming through.

But, yeah, you said a mouthful and as always spot on. I too, am curious how this whole thing will play out at days end. Prayers sweetheart!
In case I don’t chat before Christmas. Merry Christmas!

  25. Thanks! You express reality so well and touch your readers souls. An acquittanced of mine of mine is founder and CEO of “Kingdom Group” and affiliated with Erase-Racism. Both groups struggle to promote racial harmony. Thanks again for sharing your experience.

  26. Isn’t it sad that so many see themselves as a unique ethnic community or nation and fail to see that our original common parents were made in the image of God but because Adam sacrificed his stewardship of the world to the devil this has driven us into small insecure groupings? I’m so glad God has assured us that after the devil has had enough time to demonstrate to the universe his so called better way is chaotic and destructive God will intervene taking those who want a heavenly life home and destroying the rest who choose hate over love. It will be God’s strange act of destruction as an act of mercy to those who couldn’t stand to live in a perfect world.

    • It really is, Ian. I pray that His mercy rain down. And His grace and protection!! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts! Hugs and love xox

  27. YES! You are on point! So sad that you experienced that – Joseph and I have been a bit focused on our own life and family goals so I had no idea that asians were being targeted or blamed. I’ll add that to my prayer list.

    • Hello again friend! I appreciate your kindness. Yeah it is so sad. Joinin you in that important prayer! Thanks again for stopping by and taking the time to read! Hugs and love xox
