  1. Wow! Excuse me while I pull a YouTube and say “first comment” because I am NEVER this early (to ANYTHING) XD Silliness aside, I loved your article and I’m so happy for you that it was published on WINE! I agree, what the world needs now are public Christians!

    • Haha thank you so much Vera!! That’s too funny!!! Yes!! And thanks for taking the time to read it! Amen! We can’t be basement Christians any more! This world needs Jesus and those who are sharing His love! Hugs and love xox

    • Your so right about that! In Him! He is the way, truth and life! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs and love xox

  2. Definitely needs Jesus more than ever! I remember talking to people at work years ago, churchgoers who refused to share the Gospel, because their faith is between them and God. As one Christian writers said, the reason kids are leaving the church is because it’s the atheists and evolutionists who are doing all the talking!

James letter in the NT is a great discussion of the importance of works to faith!

I once got re-acquainted with a friend whom I hadn’t seen in years. She asked me if I was a Christian; I said yes. She said she thought so, because I always seemed different to her. Then she asked me why I never said anything. YIKES!

Great article, Caralyn! Simple and grounded in the basics!

    • You’re so right about that, Jeff. Now more than ever! And that is the gosh darn truth – EVERY SINGLE OTHER secular group/atheist/non-Christian agenda’d group is on their soap box and recruiting like crazy! Their voices and agendas are shaping and determining society, culture and the younger generation’s thinking. We need to offer some sort of voice of reason, if you ask me! I’ll have to check out James — pearls of wisdom, right? (My mom led a Bible study on James). Oh wow, definitely a convo that will light a fire under your seat! Thank you for taking the time to read. I hope you and your girls are having a wonderful weekend. Hugs and love xox

    • thank you so much Karac!! i appreciate that! hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend! Hugs and love xox

    • Thank you so much Laurie!! Glad you stopped by. hope you’re having a great morning! Hugs and love xox

  3. Not to brag on myself but I’ve been told by others that my faith is noticeably alive to others. And your article is “Right On The Money” it’s that personal recharge time which allows us to grow. It is only in that being with God that we are able to be energized. But the way in which we are bold is in how we don’t stumble over what we believe. I’ve been in several on and off conversations with one of my Co-Worker’s and he’s stated that it’s refreshing to him to see a young person actually own the faith for themselves. We shouldn’t be afraid to live out our faith. One of my favorite verses is from 2nd Corinthians 2:15-16 which calls us the aroma of Christ. A scent that is pleasing to those who are being saved and also being worked on by God. There is so much that comes from walking out in faith in accordance to what God says to us to do. And Finally we can’t let ourselves put out Holy Spirit’s fire within us like we are warned against in 1st Thessalonians 5:15.

  4. Congratulations on your article. I love how it encourages us to stay rooted in Jesus. Keep up the great writing. We all know this world needs to be flooded with God’s words and grace.

  5. “Don’t we need to be living our faith out loud? Isn’t that what this world desperately needs right now – examples of Christ’s love? ” YES YES YES! GREAT COLUMN!
