    • Thank you so much Ryan! We really tried to have a big cozy factor when living in such a crazy place! thanks for watching! Hugs and love xox

  1. Caralyn, I love your home! You’ve done a beautiful job of making all yours. The square footage is comparable to the new tiny houses that have gained popularity in recent years. I love how tidy your home is too, something we both appreciate. Thanks for the tip on the air freshener, I looked it up, nice! And, what is the tall thing that’s misting? A humidifier that I’ve never seen before? Thanks so much for the wonderful tour, you look wonderful by the way. ❤️

    • Aw thank youJohn! I appreciate you taking the time to watch!! You’re right! Tiny houses are all the rage right not! Thanks so much:) and OH YES – that air freshener is worth every penny! Oh yes! I’ll find the link for you and share it! So glad you stopped by’ have a great night! Hugs and love xox

    • aw, thank you Arebel! that’s so sweet of you to say! It definitely is nice to come home to a relaxed space in the hustle bustle of NYC!!! hahah so glad you stopped by! Hugs and love xox

  2. 490sqft? I had to look up my old studio apt which was 430sqft. My kitchen wasnt as tiny though but the hallway and bathroom was really crammed. I upgraded to a 1100sqft townhouse condo I’m paying mortgage on, wanted a garage though which is probably as small as my old kitchen my Challenger barely fits being a land yacht and all 😂 but i make it work.

I do miss having a smaller place easier to clean up. Is that wall landline phone from the 1980s? Bet it still works at least.

I gotta get me one of those air fresheners because sometimes I apparently like to burn things on a semi rare occasion 😬 and also if I don’t have an air freshener my place smells like an auto shop lol, or my factory job. The freshers in the stores usually doesnt last that long.

But man I don’t know how you manage to deal with the city noise, but I got a highway ramp where people like to use as a drag strip 🤣. I don’t mind it but those motorcycles are loud!

    • Hi friend! oh my gosh, 430! that is impressive! You’re certainly right about that — small spaces are easier to clean!! I’ve definitely adopted a ruthless mentality when it comes to keeping “junk” around. There’s just no room! If it’s not functional or have senimental value that’s off the charts, it’s outta here! haha and yes! the air freshener is really a great find. I was very grateful to be able to cook my favorite foods again! And. yeah….i’m so used to it, I can’t sleep in the quiet! I need noise! The silence back in ohio is deafening!! haha Hugs and love xox

      • Youd be surprised how much junk you can fit into a small space. I had a big closet in the apartment where I just stuffed a lot of my random stuff which I now use my spare bedroom for. Unfortunately I tend to be a pack rat! 😬 Not hoarder level but its kinda-ish. Going to have to just go through and then toss whatever but I have this thing where if I end up needing it Its already tossed or gotten rid of it.

I looked that air freshener up and it’s like over $200. Going to have to work some overtime for that guy. Wow, yeah then it must be weird to sleep without any noise. Of course the solution to that is to listen to recorded city noise on headphones.

      • I hear that! It’s easy to accumulate “stuff!” Yeah, the air freshener is definitely an investment, but totally worth it. I mean, I spent so much money on plug ins every couple weeks. This will pay for itself in a year! (And if you want to use my code, BEAUTYBEYONDBONES, you get one free scent cartridge with it 🙂 ) But yeah – it’s definitely an investment! So glad you stopped by! Hugs and love xox

    • Thank you so much Marla! You’re so sweet to take the time to watch it! Hope you’re having a great night! Hugs and love xox

  3. There is some scuttlebutt about a dirty bomb that is supposed to be detonated in NY. Don’t know when, don’t know if it is valid and cannot verify it, but it is kind of like the scuttlebutt before 911. Jews had told their families to get out of NY and they are telling them again now. Cara I don’t know what you can do, if you and your special man can even leave and go to your mom’s, if he can work from another place besides NY but you might consider how you can leave the city for a bit, just in case. I was not sure if I should tell you or not. ‘Would she want to know?’, scenario. God bless you and keep you safe.

    • Hi Melissa, oh gosh that is really scary, thank you for telling me. Given the state of the world right now, I have been actually having the same thought: Manhattan is the last place I’d want to be if God forbid countries start launching nukes. My goodness. I will keep my eyes and ears open for more info on this. Thank you again, Melissa. You are a great friend. Hugs and love xox

  4. I noticed the chandelier right at the beginning, its perfect . You did well managing the hall space and its everything one needs. Maybe offer the neighbor some banana bread and you’ll likely make a friend for life. Enjoy your day 🙂

    • Thank you so much Alice! And it was a steal!! Hahah – that’s a great point – a loaf of banana bread goes a LONG way! haha Hugs and love xox

    • Thank you so much Cindy! I appreciate you taking the time to watch it! Hugs and love xox

    • thank you so much!! i appreciate you taking the time to watch it! Hugs and love xox

  5. I’m looking for something just like this! Do you mind offering price ranges you found in your search?! Also, I adore what you’ve done with your space, and so thrilled you found a solution to meet your cooking needs!

  6. Hi! For a small appointment, it seems so nice and roomy. Going on 40 years ago, my wife and I bought a house that’s under 1,000 square feet. Yet it has 3 small bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. Oh yeah, there is also an attached garage. Garbage disposal? We used to have a dog that would eat anything. Almost. One day I tried cooking octopus. But it was so bad… the dog wouldn’t even eat it. Very nice apartment you have. Would like to see what the two of you do with your new home.
