A Sorrowful Update

Hi friends.

Steven and I are grieving the loss of someone very close to us last night.

There will not be posts tonight or Monday, as we make arrangements for the celebration of life.

We appreciate your prayers at this time.

Have a blessed Easter, remembering that Jesus, in His infinite love and mercy, died so that we may take part in the glorious paradise of Heaven, where there is no more suffering, no more pain, only comfort in the arms of Our Savior.

  31. I’m so sorry! There are no words that can comfort a grieving heart truly, as much as I wish there were. But my thoughts, my love, and prayers to the One who can, are with you. May they wrap around you and hold you like a warm embrace as you walk through this journey of sorrow.
    This sorrow Belongs to those who will miss their presence here, in your days, your moments of life. This place of woe became a little bit darker with the absence of their light…But OH the joy of heaven! They’ve finally made it home, unshackled of this fragile flesh, bereft of sickness, sorrow, pain…into the arms of love at last.

  43. I’m not much for words at times like this, but I am reminded of a poem..
    “God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
    He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.
    He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
    His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
    As the days come and go and the world moves on,
    I know you’re still here, you’ll never be gone.
    On the morn the Angel came and took your hand,
    We cried as you left for an unknown land.
    But Heaven rejoiced as you came into sight,
