Get My Books

Bloom: A Journal by BeautyBeyondBones takes the reader on a motivating and inspiring journey inside the mind of a young woman trapped in the cycle of anorexia, and through the raw and often painful journey to new life.

Designed as an interactive, three-month daily journal with room to write, Caralyn shares the Scripture verses and quotes that were the most powerful in her own recovery from anorexia.

She weaves in dramatic entries from her own journal kept during inpatient treatment, while offering present day reflections on these daily entries – ten years later as a healthy and thriving young woman.

And she provocatively concludes each day with introspective questions meant to challenge the reader to deeper transformation.

She speaks to the heart of the matter in words that she “wished she would have heard.”

A must-read and useful tool for sufferers and their loved ones alike.

Now is the time to bloom.

From the author of BeautyBeyondBones, one of the Top 25 Eating Disorder Recovery Websites of 2016/2017…

The #1 question I get asked, multiple times each day is: “How did you grow your blog to 32,000 followers?”

I cringe to come across as an “expert” — because believe me, I have *a lot* to learn. But I have figured out some helpful tips and tricks to growing a successful blog.

So whether you’re hoping to turn your hobby into a business, or simply grow your “passion project,” this publication covers everything from hashtags, to Social Media etiquette, to what makes a good blog post.

You asked, I answered.

A must-read for beginning bloggers, to seasoned pros.

  2. Hello Caralyn. I purchased and read your blogging book this week, and I really appreciate it. You added ideas to the conversation that I’ve not seen before. 3. Hey, BBB–thanks for the “like” on my blog post. I recently began blogging so any like is cause for celebration!

  4. 🦋One of your followers, Author Ryan Callahan, gave me your link after he commented on my own book post.

My book isn’t anything grand and it’s total fiction about a 14 year old that crossed the line… (anorexia) I was asked to write a sequel in regard to a character in the book with bulimia nervosa but I couldnt get enough info on the condition. My anorexia medical knowledge was limited as it was. My reason for writing was to let those younger girls ( from 11yrs) know that there is hope – if they want to change. It’s paid off! The book has been accepted into at least 6 school libraries and I received emails from your girls and boys alike whom it helped. 🙂

What I really want to just say is that I hope too, that your book helps to change lives. God bless you in your endeavours. – Chrissy

    • Hey Chrissy! Ryan is a great friend. Oh wow that’s so awesome! your book sounds powerful! Congratulations on your success! I hope so as well 🙂 hugs xox

  5. Hi Caralyn! My name is Annalee and I have written a book, a memoir, about a very turbulent time in my life. I have self-edited, and I want to move forward. How did you move forward? Did you self-publish, and if so, where? I know this is a big question, so I understand if it takes awhile to answer. Any tips would be great 🙂
    Thanks,
    Annalee
