Hello friends and HAPPY THURSDAY!
Oh my gosh, it is the absolute HAPPIEST of Thursdays…because…..
I’M GOING HOME TO OHIO TOMORROW!!!
Yes! It’s true. I’m going to go home and visit my family for the next several days!
But the best part….
IS THAT STEVEN IS COMING WITH ME!!!
Oh my gosh, I am seriously over the moon. I don’t think my fingers typing, can keep up with the jubilation that is happening in my brain right now.
This is the second time he’ll have visited Ohio with me…
But the FIRST TIME that both he and I will be seeing my parents’ new house!
As I mentioned back in February, my parents moved from my childhood home…where they have lived for 32 years! And are now living down the street from my oldest brother, his wife and their two ADORABLE twin toddlers!
So they have entered a new phase of life, and I’m really excited for them, AND to build new memories there.
But here’s something fun: SO, they’ve been renovating the house, and over the last two weeks have had the entire inside repainted! To the tune of — my parents counldn’t live there while they did it because everything was under painter’s paper!
SOOOO….we’re arriving tomorrow, and SO ARE THEY! No body knows what we’re walking into! Will it be finished? Will we have a place to sit down or a bed to sleep in that isn’t covered in painters’ plastic wrap?! We shall see!
One thing’s for sure: it will be an adventure!!
Alright, well I’ve got to go finish packing! But I wanted to share the joy with you, my friends.
