Good evening friends. I am currently scrambling to get ready for a week long shoot this week near Columbus!
I got a great modeling job starting tomorrow, so that means that today I’m getting lunches for both Steven and I made for this week, all dinners prepped, get a manicure, straighten my hair, AND film a last minute audition that came in this afternoon.
Sheesh! It’s already 4:45, and I’m nowhere near being even half way finished with my list!
I don’t know about you, but when I have big weeks like this where I leave the house at 6am and don’t get back until 7pm, I HAVE to be organized. And write it out in graph-form like an elementary school kid with their planner.

Anywho, tonight I wanted to share a truly life changing video that Steven and I watched this weekend. It’s a seven minute clip from a homily said by a priest who was killed in a car accident the following day.
It is hauntingly powerful. It’s as though this man was moved by the Holy Spirit to just set the record straight on everything in our faith that goes against popular secular culture today, and challenge people to “get off the fence.”
I won’t ruin it, but I highly encourage you to watch it. It’s gotten 217,000 views! Which, for a homily is A LOT!! Steven and I were so moved by it. I’ve shared it with everyone in my circles since then. So I want to share with you too.
God bless you all! Have a wonderful week! And if you could please say an extra prayer for me that I stay safe with all the driving I’m doing this week, and that I stay healthy for the duration of the shoot! Thank you!
Hugs, Caralyn

Wow, thank you for sharing that simple yet deep message. How true; commit to God in all issues and aspects of life. He will never leave your side no let you down. I am a one issue person: what does God want? Bam, there is your answer, your direction, and/or your choice. Hugs and Love π€ & β€οΈ. Have a great week, you will be and do great, yβall are in my prayers; βMay God bless you, keep you safe. God be with you and in your heart.β
Wow, that was very powerful, Caralyn. He is right! Frankly, I am so tired of watching our country continue to fracture. People are doing the evil one’s dirty work and don’t even know it. I said a prayer for him, so very sad how he passed. ππ»β€οΈ
Father Mark will be missed. He revitalized his parish. It went from just a handful of people at 7:30 am Mass to standing room only. That is amazing for a small, farm country parish.
Iβve never heard a Catholic priest speak like this! Wow, just wow!
Caralyn, Thanks for sharing. Father Mark sure was pumped!!!
Boy this priest was on fire. Some Salvation Army officers (ministers) are like that also.π
Thank you, Caralyn, for sharing Fr. Beard’s stirring witness and in his inimitable presentation. Yes, there are some elements of his preachment with which I disagree. Nevertheless, his passion of and for Christian commitment and his calling to us, as Jesus hath said, “to count the cost” of that commitment, I cannot and would not gainsay. Again, I thank you. Fr. Beard, requiescat in pace.
Great sermon! If only all preachers were so fearless our country would be in much better shape. Thank you for sharing this. Prayers for you in the busy week ahead!
Beautiful!
