Biden’s Disaster Press Conference – Was it Intentional?

Hey friends! Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes.

Yes, I still have Covid — but thankfully I am on the very tail end of it, and it has been incredibly mild, which I am grateful for.

But that, plus being pregnant, and I just feel like I got hit by a bus. lol

I tried to take a gentle 15 minute walk outside today, and I got back and was WIPED OUT! Combine that with filing our taxes — it just has completely zonked me.

So instead of my normal in-depth post – I thought I would share a little video I made last week before I caught the Rona: and ALSO ask a little question:

QUESTION: WHAT WERE YOUR THOUGHTS ON PRESIDENT BIDEN’S PRESS CONFERENCE LAST WEEK?

So if you haven’t been following, President Biden had a bunch of classified documents in his garage at his home.

After an internal investigation, the special council report decided NOT to prosecute Biden for being in possession of these documents for the reason that: he’s too old and his depleted mental capacities disqualify him from being culpable of the crime. In other words, he is an “elderly man with a poor memory” — a quote from the report.

The timing was terrible for this, because multiple times that week, he cited talking with political leaders who were dead, got countries wrong, and had other memory/misspoken gaffs. SO – Biden held this emergency press conference last week to defend his memory and cognitive ability, and basically “prove” that the special council report was wrong…and it was an absolute disaster.

He came off as senile — aggressively so. He had memory gaffs. Was hard to understand. And at one point, referred to the President of Egypt as the President of MEXICO, when talking about the conflict in Palestine/Israel. It was a dumpster fire.

Ben Shapiro has a great episode on it, where he literally watches it with you, and goes through his thoughts. : https://youtu.be/jAL-YeqJI9k?si=GuAPaBoMAy-XBcl4

I honestly felt bad for the guy. He’s clearly incapable of performing the duties of the Presidency — he should be enjoying the rest of his life at home with his family, or in a senior community in Florida. He seems to just be being puppetted around, and that’s not kind.

Do you think that Democrats are trying to lift the veil and reveal to the public that Biden is actually no longer with it? Were they trying to get people to invoke the 25th Amendment — because they’re scared that in a Biden/Trump election, Biden will lose?

Because part of the most disasterous part of the press conference was the questioning by the press! Usually they have 2 or three pre-screened questions from reporters that they instruct Biden to call on. But that night it was a free-for-all. And YIKES.

Did they want him to fail so miserably?

Anyway — please let me know your thoughts! This is my Roman Empire this week 🙂

OK – this is all the mental strength I can muster right now.

Until Wednesday!

  1. My opinion is that the Demoncrats are gearing up to offer Michelle Obama as Obama 3.0 Biden was 2.0).
More of the same: abortion as a federal law; elites making your decisions about masks and vaccines; punish “terrorists” like Catholics, Evangelicals and other “extremists.”
    Pray for our nation.

  2. I don’t know if it was intentional or not, but I definitely know we the people need to do something. Please someone tell me we actually have a choice – and it’s not between the red pill or the blue one!

  3. When isn’t it a disaster. But, no more of a disaster than a man elected who grabbed women’s vaginas. Less of a disaster than a President inciting an insurrection that led to the death of a Capitol police officer. Agism is real but people get what the elect. Resnublicans Demoncrats or whatever else people want to call them.

    Get better. You look great!

  4. No matter what, getting older or not, senile or not we have to support him against Trump and his clan, no other solution for this country. I think you should really stick to posting cookies recipes.

  5. I have said it before but it bears repeating. Republicans appeared to have no problem with dementia when Ronald Reagan was president. In fact he is considered a Republican hero. The President’s obvious dementia was widely mocked at the time on shows like Spitting Image:

  6. He needed to be removed a long time ago. He has not fulfilled his duties as President of the Us in protecting the boarder. He need to be arrested for a dereliction of duty and removed from office.

  7. You look just fine in the photo, Caralyn! Hugs, I hope you feel better soon. Honestly, I never watch the so-called news and haven’t for years but I do get bits of it here and there. I think that the Democrat party will be the undoing of this country unless Republicans and/or Conservatives like myself can vote people like this if I may say, clown out of office. He’s not fit mentally for the office of the President.

  8. Glad you are feeling stronger. You seem to know the drill, though here they tell us we need just five days from the first fever to stay away from folks. On the news conference issue, I choose not to watch more than I have to. (I do read about things, just can’t listen). It keeps my blood pressure normal and lets me sleep nights. Blessings on your recovery.

  9. Hello! I have to admit that I have been getting emails to your blog posts for years, and don’t often read them. I get caught up in life and an over abundance of emails and just get overwhelmed. I haven’t even written a post on my own blog livelivecourage.com in several years. That is partly because what I’ve wanted to write about seemed like a bad idea for a while. It involves my daughter being abused by a guy and all the court dates that followed with him and his insane dad. I’m ramping up to start posting again, I think….
I’ve been paying more attention to the emails I get for your posts and I have to say that I wish I’d read them more. I will be now.
Best of luck with the pregnancy, glad you seem to be getting over Covid!

  10. Both candidates are old. I’m choosing the one who didn’t cheat on his wife with a prostitute. I’m choosing the one who isn’t using his rallies to get people to hate fellow
Americans. I’m choosing the one who hasn’t co-opted the Christian base, yet never attends church. The list goes on.

As far as Biden and his ridiculous press conference is concerned, it makes me angry that he’s allowed to take classified documents home without repercussions, while Donald Trump gets called on the carpet and threatened with impeachment and all sorts of other terrible punishments for doing the exact same thing. I’m tired of the double standard, and I’m tired of Biden getting away with doing whatever he wants because he can use his supposed decreased mental capacity as an excuse. While I can see that he definitely has some big issues in that regard, I wonder how much of it is his staff using his problem to get away with murder (not necessarily literal murder). The whole thing is pretty sinister and just plain evil no matter how you look at it if you ask me.

    1. Trump wasn’t called on the carpet because he merely possessed documents; it was because he resisted returning them. There’s a difference. Trump did not respond to multiple requests to return the documents and continued to argue that he was within his rights to have them even though they still had classified status. Biden didn’t take the same level of flak because he cooperated with the investigators immediately, so they didn’t have to keep arguing with him the way they did Trump, and the process of recovering the documents wasn’t as dragged-out. It’s not that Biden tying to make excuses, it’s more that he made fewer of them, and it was less of a hassle to deal with him. Sometimes, it pays to have more manners and less belligerent ego.

  12. I really wish that you and others would stop making fun of Biden for the way he talks. Biden has dealt with a lifelong stutter and has been through years of speech therapy to speak as well as he does. The way he speaks is the way he’s always spoken, even if you didn’t listen to him before he was elected President, it’s not a new development because of his age, his condition is very well-documented, and I think it’s extremely unkind and un-Christian for you and others to misrepresent the nature of the issue and belittle him because of it. A speech impediment is not a sign of mental incapacity, and if you had made any sincere attempt to learn why Biden speaks the way he does, you would have found the many, many articles that explain his efforts to overcome a childhood disability. For example:

  13. I’m not sure if the comment that I made explaining why you are unkind and un-Christian for belittling a man with a lifelong speech impediment for the way he talks made it because I included a link explaining Biden’s history with speech therapy and coping with his lifelong stutter, and I know that comments with links are sometimes screened out. A stutter is not a sign of diminished mental capacity, and Biden’s speech issues are well-documented and go back decades. They are not new issues because of his age and have nothing to do with his intelligence or mental capability.

As for the comments you spoke about describing Biden as an “elderly man with a poor memory” about the classified documents he has in his possession, you have presented only one part of that quote and taken it out of context to mischaracterize it. The full quote from the special counsel is: “We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” Did you see that part about “would likely present himself”? That’s not a diagnosis from a doctor about Biden’s actual mental state. A special counsel is not any kind of mental professional at all. It is a legal position, and what he was saying was not that Biden actually has a poor memory but that he thought that Biden would likely act like he did to win sympathy over his screw-up. It’s neither fair nor honest for you to mischaracterize that statement as some kind of medial diagnosis when it is not anything of the kind.

What Biden did with the documents was a screw-up, but unlike Trump, he did not try to deny that he did screw-up, and he cooperated with investigators and returned the documents to the proper authorities. Trump argued with investigators, resisted returning the classified documents in his possession, and is still arguing that he should have been allowed to keep them. It takes personal strength and integrity to admit to doing something wrong and to take steps to make it right. Biden has that. Trump doesn’t.
