Happy Thanksgiving!

Just wanted to pop in and wish you and yours a happy, joy-filled Thanksgiving.

This year marks an especially meaningful celebration of gratitude, not only for my mom’s continued recovery from her stroke 11 months ago, but also the lessons learned along the way.

This was the year I learned my fortitude. This was the year my courage was tested. This was the year I realized that time is precious, and not a guarantee. This was the year I learned to let God catch and sustain me.

And today, as we all look back in thanksgiving for all of our blessings, may we remember from Whom those blessings flow.

God is good and the gratitudes are overflowing.

I’m sending you an enormous bundle of love and prayers this Thanksgiving. I am truly thankful for each and every one of you in my life.

You’re a blessing to me.

Happy Thanksgiving 💛

  1. Amen, everything comes from Him. The Blessings flow so freely from Him, especially when we are thankful, and full of praise. We are thankful for you also, well, I guess I shouldn’t speak for every one. I am thankful for you, for always being truthful, honest, and giving God all the glory, He so rightly deserves. God Bless you always, my friend :):)

  2. I’m glad that you are home with family! I know how much that means to you. Julie and Hillary are in Toledo with her dad, who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, so I’m solo this weekend. Julie really wanted to concentrate on him, so I volunteered to let them have a “chick trip” to go tend to him.

A thanks and good wishes wait for you at Patreon!

  4. Happy Thanksgiving! I’m so thankful to God for my family! Our oldest son was home from college! Everyone is healthy! We all worshiped this morning and then feasted and then napped!

I’m also thankful that my church will be sending me to VoxCon in February – in Brooklyn! My first trip that borough!

  8. Took my kids to Cheesecake Factory. My daughter, made a friend and mentioned she had holes in her shoes. So. We went shoe shopping for her friend. I like your shirt. I’m glad your mom came out okay.

      1. I like to hang out with them. There’s something about family that’s just, good. I did notice, especially with my generation that dad’s aren’t stepping up. Specifically with their daughters. So. I try to include them more and their friends. There’s a lot of single parents in the ghetto. I think, we all tried to find love in our partners to overcome the lack of love from our parents. So. Just try to show rather than tell, you know. Dad loves you.

      3. I had this argument with someone in Atlanta. Friends. Are important and easier to come by. It’s an unconditional love like, parents. Somehow though, romantic love is conditional. When it should be unconditional, intimate, and a friendship.

      5. There’s a lot to relationships. I wasn’t trying to simplify them with three principles and a song. I’m sure. You have made some good insights as well in New York. Maybe. I have walls a lot of people are fake.

      7. Maybe. It’s the faster motions but not the connections. I used to see the sorority girls with different guys every week. I mean. I was everybody’s ride home. It looked exciting but is it? To love once is, enough. I can’t imagine getting dumped three or four times a month. Maybe it’s fun. Like those reality dating shows.

  9. Happy Thanksgiving Caralyn, to you, and your Mom and Dad. Give them an extra Canadian hug. Enjoy your weekend at home, with your folks, any family in the area, and friends.
Thank you, my dear friend, for the inspiration, and love you always share, focused on our Lord Jesus Christ, never backing away to lift yourself up. Keep yourself open to receive and learn all the Holy Spirit has for you, and you will be amazed at your future. The growing in Christ you are experiencing at this time, is all in preparation for the future that God has for you. In this relatively brief period of time that your blog has been read and loved, you have touched and blessed many people by being you, the “You” God created you to be. As far as you have come Caralyn, there is so much more ahead of you, in God’s planning. Keep seeking Him, and He will be leading you to complete His full purpose in your life, for His Glory.

    Matthew 6:33
“So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.

    Philippians 1:6
I pray with great faith for you, because I’m fully convinced that the One who began this glorious work in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you and will put his finishing touches to it until the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ!

    God’s Abundant Blessings Caralyn.
    Luv, 😀🌹❤️🇨🇦

Jesus does love us, He loves us so much, that He shed His blood so we could freely receive salvation by grace thru faith. So beautiful, so awesome! God bless Mam!
